I NEVER win playing video poker anymore.

Did you hit any jackpots? Did you get a great comp? We all want to know!

Exactly what I am doing now. Dropped from dollars, to quarters, to dimes, to nickels. Still using Martingale, but cutting off the losses during the session. So for now I lose 300 a session not 3,000 and still get to enjoy the casino amenities.

You're lucky. I have not hit a royal flush yet this calender year.

I don't consider my eight royals this year "lucky" at all.

I have played a little over 83000 deals of 5 line 50c video poker this year.  That's a little over 415000 hands.  Eight royals in 415000 hands, an average of one every 51800 hands or so, is not lucky!

Sure it is lucky, Onemoretry. While you feel that the law of averages may lean in your favor with that many hands, VP is a random game, governed by the 'Law of Independent Trials". What happened before has no bearing on what happens next. You may have gone all year without an RF.

It's called a 'cold streak'.
10 royals on avg. should have hit so a bit unlucky !

You should try the exact opposite. Instead of moving up your coins on that martindale thing everyone on this forum talks about, move it down until ur at the bottom.

Actually dropped to 3 cents yesterday and had a good result when it bumped back up to the 10 cent level.

Pay tables are important. If a machine is cold I move. On my birthday I scored three royals, none since.....favorite movie line from THE OUTLAW JOSIE WALES..."ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE " goodluck.

I always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A jackpot hit near me is a sure sign that I will bust. Full coin hands are at best a push. Short coin hands are when I receive quads.

If you only play full coin, all of your quads will be at full coin, and all of your royals will be at least 4000 coins. But you know all that...

Sure, everyone here knows that but, there are a few that, sadly, don't do it.
