My favorite bank of VP machines

Post by Widge »

Returning to Las Vegas in December. Hoping to spend some extended time at my favorite bank of VP machines. At Main St Station near the valet parking entrance is a nice group of comfortable slant top machines that are multi game and denomination. with 10/7 DB DW44, LDW, .Does anyone else know of any other location anywhere around town with a bank of Machines this nice.

Define "around town."That bank at MSS is NSUD quarters.  You can play Full-Pay Deuces for quarters on better, faster, nicer slants at Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch with almost 1% more edge.  I think they have some FPDW slants at Santa Fe Station and Aliante too.  You can play 25c FPDW at the Palms but they're uprights.  Nice ones, but uprights.  Same with Boulder Station.  Sam's Town has FPDW slants too but I find them annoyingly noisy (electronic noise.  capacitors I think) and slow.If 100.17% Double Bonus is what you're after, Palms and Stations have those too.If I wanted to play downtown, MSS is where I'd do it.  The natural 4OAK scratchers increase the edge a bit.http://www.vpfree2.com/

Thanks for the reply.   "around town " is anywhere I can drive to in 30 mins or less.  We always have a rental car. We were planning to check out  Aliante Station, This trip.  I have not found the FPDW at Palms, so I will look it uo on vp2free,  I still prefer 10/7 DB , but that is harder to find every trip.  The used to be at the Strat, and  California. but were absent last trip.

You can play 10/7 Double Bonus at the Palms for 25c and 50c.  You can play it at most of the Stations for 25c, 50c, and $1.  At Aliante they also have it down to nickels. Those 20 100% uprights were put in at the Palms in May.Note that at the Palms and Stations you earn points at 1/4 the normal rate on these machines. $4 countdown instead of $1.Good luck.

LVH Sportsbook... FULL PAY Loose Deuces at both quarter and dollar level. My all time favorite. The Dollar machines are on a bank of DDB progressives. Change the game type to Loose Deuces on those and you're set. The progressive is on DDB only, but full pay is full pay. Have had great luck there.
