DaBurglar I have alot of the same issues as you with Caesars AC.  Diamond Club shouldbe for Diamond and above period.  It stinks.  I was charged the $13 room charge too butI complained to my host and since then I have not been charged and I am a low diamond player.  I recommend you contact my host Susan Morere-McCloy who is Director of Customer Development.  She has always been very good to us.

Hey Than, thanks for the tip, but what's interesting is I recognize that name from my futile attempt last week to get us a rate for a group get together....two people I spoke to in marketing & customer relations mentioned "a susan" who often handles such unsolicited short notice requests from players, but apparently she was not around when I was there asking so I got the runaround before finally giving up....this was probably about the same time Billy Joe was getting his rejection notice, judging by his post.... But next time I am there, if I can bring myself to enter the premises, I will ask for her.  The only reason I will ever return to Caesars in AC is they are the only property in AC who has the Five Star SINGLE LINE machines with all the games I enjoy playing (like Quick QUads & dreamcard and a few others).....other properties have these games but only in MULTI LINE form, and my experience has been multi line games play differently (and I am not talking about the OBVIOUS cost difference....the cards themselves RUN different, and by that I mean less auspicious.  Starting hand deals just suck more often with multi line games.)  But that's another issue for another threaqd. Harrahs in AC is the only Total rewards property I do not frequently play, and I have only stayed there a handful of times since I prefer the ability to wheel around in my chair on the Boardwalk.  Many times I have found myself wqaiting 25-30 minutes for a Jitney van, and it is a good 10-15 minute ride to and from the MArina hotels to the boardwalk.    I will use Caesar's express courtesy van when I have the time, but they only have two vans, running in opposite directions, and it can take upwards of an hour between pickups depending on demand and traffic.  In the summertime, I have seen the line for the vans extending 50 or more people!  that's absurd....plus, the handicap lift on the Caesar's vans is somewhat precarious, and the quality and nonchalance of some of their drivers makes me NOT want to press my luck (that's what I do at the VP machines, NOT in the courtesy vans!)  FAYGO:  I dont know what to tell you, other than consider yourself blessed (or lucky) you dont get assessed the automatic charges.   For those of you who do not know, this charge is apparently SPLIT between some sort of "tourist fee/tax"  and a New Jersey room tax.....for the casinos charging onlt 5 bucks, it is split 3 bucks for one of those charges and 2 bucks for the other.    I was always told the charges were mandatory when I asked or complained, I never had a host tell me they could be removed outright, but I will try Than's advice next time. One issue/problem I seem to have stems from my choice to spread around my action amongst the properties in AC.   I reached 24,975 total rewards points last year, but I also spent a lot in other casinos, and I had a reason for doing this:  I currently get comped rooms and a lot more at ALL AC properties, so that I can string together (if I want) stays of a week to 10 days (or longer) if I choose......I like having this flexibility and options, and I have found it can pay to spread around the action, when you run cold or crappy at one place, often times it is different in another property.   But not always..... It just burns my cookies to know that if I had played another 20 minutes at a total rewards property last year, I would be over the 25000 threshold.....but alas, I am steadfast to the rule to NEVER play for the comps, that usually only leads to trouble.   Anyone agree or disagree with that?
