Got this in the mail today. Note the item regarding 99% VP machines. I may have to stop in on my next visit up north.

I'm not convinced.  It's on the "video poker" floor, but they mention Keno and 1 cent machines. I may have missed it, but never saw a 1 cent VP machine there, except for 50 play and up.I wonder why you have to ask a host about the details?  (See asterisk)Beware (which I'm sure you will be) Twinkle Toes.

I was there on the 14th. Just finished a report.    The penny video poker machines are on the 100 play machines. The video poker area is downstairs, in the back. I believe the nickle machines are 3/5/10s and ultimate X, as well as the 50/100s. I didn't see 99% machines, must be new.     Dave

I hear ya, Mamma. I would not make a special trip to Joliet based on this, but I do stay @ Harrah's Joliet when I visit my sister in Tinley Park.  My experience with asking a slot attendant or host about the location of a particular type of machine is that I receive a shoulder shrug, followed by a "I don't know". We'll have to see...

Billyjoe, I was there last Friday night.  The penny video poker is the 50/100 play machines. I saw JOB 9/6, BP 8/5, and TDB 9/7 on the $1 machines, but not on the cheap seats.   There was a bank of Game Kings along the left wall that were very busy, that was probably the nickles, I forgot to look.     Dave

Video poker is a version of the regular poker game but is played on a slot machine without a dealer or other players. While no game strategy will help you win when playing against a slot machine, and the outcome of the game is completely unpredictable and random, the result of a video poker game can be somewhat affected by a well-thought and well-played strategy.
