Hey new, good to hear from you again. Congrats on your big round. I even managed a 14K round this tournament, my best ever.

I believe the odds on a dealt sequential RF (32 million to 1) in any hand are even worse than the odds of back-back dream card royals in a contest round ... and I had one of those in a casino. Not to mention the 8 RFs I had in the last dream card contest in 10K hands. Weird things really do happen.

Thanks s-man, a dealt sequential royal!  That must have been fun to look at.I see you are carrying on the good fight, even though the atmosphere here has turned a bit towards the cantankerous side.  Even though I don't take the time to post as often since I have less time available these days, I do read a fair amount of what's posted.  It is unfortunate that many treat their tenuous, indefensible position as some sort of esteemed treatise and are unable to distinguish between factual criticism and some incredible insult.  Hopefully, many of the readers can separate the "wheat from the chaff" better than some of the writers. With that Biblical reference, I can segue at this time of the year to a less controversial "Merry Christmas" to all.  And to anyone who is offended by the quoted phrase, please feel free to substitute what for you is a more suitable season's greeting.

Edog, just face it, these cards hate us. Thanks faygo.  But edog actually made it to the Tournament of Champions once, so they don't always hate him.  Best of luck everybody!  Er, I guess if everybody had the best of luck, that would prove the pRNG to be faulty!

Yes I did New it was a random entry. It irritated Webman so much that he changed the rule's so it would not happen again.

It irritated Webman so much that he changed the rule's so it would not happen again.edog, I didn't remember the random entry part.  My revisionist memory was that you had some incredible score. Either way, instead of Webman fixing it now so that you could not win, I actually thought that a more likely explanation, if the entries were somehow "rigged," that Webman would have fixed it then so you did get in to try to get you to cut him some slack.I guess conspiracy theories are "in the eye of the beholder."  (I know I'm fracturing some quotation here; at first I was afraid it was another Biblical reference, but this one evidently was from Plato). The above is offered whimsically, not critically.  Have a great holiday.  Since I saw online a story about the generosity of the Oneida Nation to those less fortunate celebrating Christmas, I'm thinking it is not a cultural faux pas to wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Merry christmas to you too, NEW. I had suggested a phantom entry to him. So far no luck. I guess he is a bit of a scrooge when it come's to those thing's.

I would hope that no one knowingly represents the chaff.  By definition, that is the part that is "hard to swallow."  In this metaphor, would the wheat be "a grain of truth"?

Ahh, the truth is what you seek.  Go to a comment made on Dec 15 at 7:52 AM and another at 6:22 PM (same day).  Therein lies your answer to the origins.
