TOC champion

It say's on the final standing's the winner aquired the winning score at 9:27 A.M On the leader log below it say's score was recorded at 3:20 P.M. the same day very strange! So which one was it Webman. I also find it interesting you can not see the winner's hand's like in the daily contest's. Just lend's creedence we are all wasting our time here playing these contest's. I know my position on this is not popular. Your cold shoulder on chat when I am on prove's that. Something stink's here and it is not me.

Read below the scores.Date/Time reflects player's most recent session, and the scoreboard indicates their best overall score. His most recent (and final) session was played at 9:27 PM (not AM as you posted). His winning score was recorded when the log states, at 3:20 PM.II don't know what cold shoulder you are talking about. If I missed a comment from you on chat, I apologize. I do not monitor the chat all the time when it says I am on. I most likely had a game open in another window while I was working and did not see it. If I saw a question addressed to be directly, I would certainly respond, as I am right now.I'm not sure why we didn't include a best hand display feature for the final scores, but nobody asked about it last year. We probably should add that next year. Here is a link to the winner's best hand display.I believe that addresses all of your points, but I expect it to have little impact on your accusations, if the past is any indicator. Unless you or someone you know wins, you seem to think something is wrong... and you had the pleasure of taking part in the Tournament of Champions last year, so that makes it especially tiresome. It's really not a problem for VideoPoker.com to give away $50 each day in a fair manner, and $1,000 in each monthly contest. It's really not a problem for VideoPoker.com to put on a fair tournament at the end of each year and give away the stated prizes. We aren't giving away millions of dollars here and there is zero incentive to cheat you out of your scores, and every incentive to present a fair game. I'm sorry you don't like the results, but they are exactly what is to be expected of a fair game.

Extremely lucky, and something I've never personally had happen to me in a casino or when testing on this web site. Trust me, I see the top scores every day and think "that lucky &$%$%, why doesn't that ever happen to me!" But I understand the odds, and that these things are SUPPOSED to happen, to someone. Very impressive, and they deserved to win.

as do I think  the lucky S.O.B. but... You are not attempting to get in the TOC day after day too no avail.
As the month's go by one start's to think it has to be personal or why bother it will never happen. I have placed second a few time's which only pisses a guy off even more.I should probably take some time off again. But no it would just make some people on here very happy. We most assuredly do not want that.

I see the thousands of other people who are trying every day without complaining, most of whom have never seen their score on the top ten list. Why? Because there are only the best ten scores, and thousands of people will be left out every time. You seem to have unrealistic expectations for yourself, and you are overly suspicious of expected events in a random distribution.I believe there is such thing as a healthy level of skepticism in most things, but paranoia and unrealistic expectations will leave you miserable and feeling like a "loser" as you have previously said, any time you fail to win, since winning is your ultimate objective. If you enjoy playing the games, I suggest you continue, for the enjoyment and the chance at winning.  But if you only get frustration out of it and have a genuine expectation of winning against thousands of competitors, you might want to take a look at whether that is realistic. It paid off for this year's winner, and for every winner throughout the year. But truthfully, that will most likely not be you this year. It may be, but most likely will not. Unless you can come to terms with that, your frustrations will continue.I wish you the best of luck if you keep playing, but also don't want you to be continually disappointed with your results. You've done pretty well compared to most folks.

Geez, Edog, what's up with you? Here you have a free site that provides a wealth of entertainment, and all you can think of is how it is fixed. OF COURSE whoever wins these contests and tournaments is going to be lucky - what else did you think was going to happen? BTY, I have NEVER qualified for a TOC. I think I placed second once over the years in one of the contests, and I play most of them. But I have had some terrific good fortune in the casino also, so I know a great set of VP hands can happen.

Responsiveness? I wait days for a callback for support with problems on products and services that I PAY FOR, while a simple post on The Forum here almost always gets addressed within a day. I think that is great service.

I think WebMan and the folks that provide support on this site should be applauded for enriching the content on this site every year. I am not sure what your expectations are, but I for one think that they do a great job.

I guess I can not and will not understand how people play in these daily and monthly contest's with no expectation of winning. If you do not have any expectation of winning why play? Tell me please I really want to know. Are my expectation of winning realistic, yes I believe they are. Otherwise I wouldn't play. Billyjoe this site is not free I pay for the pleasure of playing here,as do you. Maybe I am way off on this maybe not.

I have posted on other forums before about the contests and the way people gripe about them and I will say it again: If you don't like a contest, or the contests as a whole, DON'T PLAY THEM. Its that simple folks. I have had the good luck to touch the top 10 in a couple of the contests but I never complained. I will not play today's daily contest because I don't like the game. I will not play my 5 rounds just to play in the contest and then gripe about it being a waste of my time, nbeing fixed, or whatever.
