Glad you had a positive experience in LV and welcome. You can, if you wish, post your winning photos on vpfree winners photos column.

Author, Christina Binkley is a Wall Street Journal columnist. We do not have a copy and have not read it yet but plan to do so soon. It sounds intriguing. YOU win! I nominate you to purchase and peruse this book and post a book report for us, before we return from Reno. You could start on line with the title and author and Amazon.com or other book source. Thank you!

[/ Say Marie, how'd I get to be the fortunate one? I barely make time to read my E-mails let alone a book however, to keep the peace, I will make every attempt to do as you ask since this sounds like an interesting book! Fair enough?
Actually, I'd feel pretty good however, backing out at this point seems rather futile thus I will make every attempt as suggested by me. Funny, I don't recall showing any interest in my original post, only questioning the content. WHERES THE IRON FIST OF THE WEBMAN WHEN I NEED IT?

A new book was just released either this week or last week.  My wife ordered it and received one of the first copies I think.  "Double or Nothing" by Tom Breitling, the story behind those two guys who bought the Golden Nugget down on Fremont St in Vegas.I haven't read it yet...will have to wait for Verna to finish it <sigh>.The GN is not one of my favorite haunts but it shore is a purtty place!
It may be pretty but it sure is popular judging by the daggone foot traffic through that place. I went last year around first week of December, midweek non-holiday late night and it was still crawling with turistas! Had to park way upper level and most of the cotton-pickin VP was taken at 11PM! I went kitty corner to California and found it relatively empty by comparison! Needless to say, I stayed and played there.

I'm brand new to this site and having quite a learning experience.  I usually play vp at an Indian casino in Oregon.  We are planning a trip
to Reno next month.  Where are the best places to play VP?
