Tiny Indian Casino has "gotcha" button!

Omg how is it the casino's fault you are not paying attention? It has nothing to do with Indian Tribe casino it's your responsibility to know what you are doing if you don't then you shouldn't be playing. Pay attention and take responsibility for your actions don't blame the casino. My Husband was native American and so is my son. Again you choose the Casino they don't drag you in there kicking and screaming.

ty for your post Jules.  We are so quick to blame other people or circumstances for our own actions.  Pay attention to what you're doing.  .....  Funny story this weekend at Harrah's Cherokee:  woman was playing $25 machine on one credit.  Accidentally hit bet max, was dealt 3 to royal and pulled other 2 for $100k.  She didn't mean to bet max but I doubt she'd return the jackpot.

that's funny wow I bet she didn't tell them I didn't mean too so you don't have to pay me that much. Your like me buff see it all. Your going to play one coin on that amount play 5.00 min and play maximum coins. I see people all the time play that have no idea what their doing. It's not the casino's fault.

Wow, what a heated debate!?!? Does anyone have any idea how I might feel on this subject of ignorance and prejudice and judgemental people....? I was born with a bone disease that results in brittle bones, I fracture easily and I have had numerous surgeries to deal with the 26 broken bones I have suffered since childhood....but the disease impacts only my legs, from the hips up I am pretty normal, even strong and muscular in fact, b ut my legs are a mess....a wheelchair is essential for me. Since childhood, I have encountered all types of ignorance and judgement by people who assume they know what I feel, or what I am capable of etc.    It is a very subtle yet infuriating form of discrimination.   Yet, in this day and age, there are many laws (just like civil rights) that protect the disabled and give people like me a chance at a level playing field.   It works everywhere EXCEPT in peoples' minds.....! Personally, words or "labels" do NOT have any effect or influence on me one way or the other....if someone calls me a "cripple" or something sicky sweet like "handicapable", I couldnt care less.   Words are words, they only harm, hurt or even Help if a person ALLOWS them to.... "Indian", "*****", "redman", "Savages", "natives", its all a bunch of hot air.   (daburglar sings) "PEOPLE are People so why should it be, that you and I should get along so AW-FULL-LY..."  Any casino, regardless of who owns it or where it is located, that clandestinely changes the amount of MAX BET without a clear warning or indication of this is kinda a lousy organization in my opinion....but it is still our responsiblity, ultimately, before we hit the button to KNOW what we are doing

This wasn't  a race issue why didn't they just put casino I'm sorry you were born with that horrible disease I would never be that ignorant. It doesn't just change it without you knowing it you have the choice before you hit the button. I have been in enough casino's to know this everywhere. Pay attention to what your doing or don't bet it's that simple. You make a mistake deal with it don't blame it on someone else.

Wow! How did this tread get so off subject?  Sounds like someone has an issue with Indians.   In Central Florida, the only casinos just happen to be run by the Indian Tribes.  The odds are not the best, but they're nearly as good as you'll find on the Vegas Strip and mostly better than the Gulf Coast.  Anyway, I think the 100 coin max bet button is a little conniving but I've seen the same tactic all over the country.  The Indians don't have a lock on trying to trip up unsuspecting players.   On the other hand, If I had hit a royal on that 100 coin bet I would now be $100,000 richer.   That's a W-2G I wouldn't mind getting.

phil, it was me who was out of line, I know Edog has a terrible time when people use the word "Indian" because he is a Native American. He has gone round and round on here with people trying to educate people about this offensive word to him and his Tribesmen. As soon as I saw your post with the word "Indian" in it, I waited. Guess he caught me on a bad day and I unloaded on him. My bad. I apologize to him, you, you and Da Burgelur and anyone else I might have offended. I did have the same thing happen to me at the  Hard Rock in Tampa. Edog has been a good friend to me on here and has defended me in the past. again sorry. Katipug

Phil indian's live in india.

That's a different kind of Indian obviously.

You should really take this up with the Oneida Tribe of Indians by filling out their contact form.
https://oneida-nsn.gov/templates/contac ... px?id=1878

Let us know what they say about the issue.

I know you are sensitive about the word but you have to understand it is used very often in a way that isn't meant to offend. You can choose to be offended or not but getting angry about it when there isn't any intent to put you down is silly. My opinion of course. I have been called many things and I let it go. Life is too short to get uptight about such silly things.
