Im offended by a certain posters use language on this forum recently. My feelings are hurt.  Im also 3% Indian (American)

One poster was given a suspension for their use of language. I don't know if that's who you are referring to, however. It may be the opposite. If you have a complaint about offensive material, please email the comment to forum@videopoker.com so we can address it. We understand that opinions and sensitivities can vary, but we do step in when things cross a certain point. I realize this is subjective... some feel we do not moderate enough, some too much. We do tend towards not stepping in except in rare cases that are clearly hostile or offensive. In the end, we're all adults here and people need to learn to exist in a world where some other adults misbehave. Their actions and words tend to reveal more about themselves than about anyone else, and they can be easily ignored if people choose to.We'll do the best we can and appreciate your understanding that decisions like suspensions are not handed out lightly and that we won't get it "right" in everyone's eyes all the time but we do our best to help this be a constructive and enjoyable community for as many people as possible.

Awesome post by Webman, very wise and fair and "Big Picture Savvy"....In fact, webman's philosophy and the words he uses in this post epitomize WHY I choose to post here and hang out and contribute.    If I am the one who has offended you or anyone else, please say so, and if this is the case, I apologize,   My intentions when I post, and the way I post along with the language I typically use, is to be both informative as well as "interesting" (which can also mean "funny", "Controversial", and "heated").   i am definitely NOT trying to hurt anyone or make anyone excessively angry. Just felt like putting this out there JUST IN CASE.....  Edited to add:   On the other hand, I just read the latest posts in the Now-suspended thread about the Gotcha Button and the Tribal Gaming issues/concept>    I think that it was unneccessary and kinda silly to suspend the whole thread, but I am just disagreeing with webman on this single issue, I still believe he is a fair and down-to-earth administrator. But, in the case of Faygo getting on EDOG for using some supposed "bad" language, lets all stop being so stinkin sensitive and self righteous and puritanical.    C'mon people, even though I dont agree with EDOG all the time and he actually criticized me, i dont mind, I LIKE spiritied, even heated debates and words..... Afterall, this forum is set against the backdrop of Gambling and Casinos and action packed Cities Like Vegas and AC (for crying out loud, SIN CITY!)   I dont get the Puritanical vibe alot of you put out.....But ya know what?!?!   EVEN THAT's Fine by me too!   Be as Puritanical and, in turn, HYPOCRITICAL, as you wish, its your right and I dont have to read your words or whatever..... But let us go easy on the censorship and restrictive measures in the forum, afterall, like VP, it is all about FUN and distraction!

 Since you have no idea of any relationship that edog and I might have, you have jumped to a  conclusion way beyond your  ability to critcize what I wrote to his post.

That's all my crticism and comments applied to....how could I even know what your personal relationship outside this forum is?  I agree 100%, that's  kinda my point, but it is also a fact that what one person may take offense to and get in a twist about is totally NON-offensive to 98% of the rest of the forum..... unless a post involves excessive pointless profanity (which this software BLOCKS anyway), almost anything a person wants to post is fair and legit.    At least thats what I think it means when FREEDOM of speech and expression is applied ....and  personally, I have no problem with pointless excessive profanity!  Ha ha yuk yukkity yuk giggle snort.....

The person she is talking about Burgular is me. There is a bit of history betwixt us Mamma and myself. Not going to get into that now. I have bigger fish to fry. Oh by the way I am back.
