Questions about 2 places

Post by djatc »

I'm going off of VPfree2 and was wondering if the Skyline actually offers 25c 10 coin FPDW? If so this seems to be the highest denom/return anywhere. Anyone every been there? What's it like?

Also, I stayed at the El Cortez the last time I went to Vegas but didn't find the Downtown Deuces machine. Are they still there? I checked the entire area by the gift shop and subway but could not find it marked, or with the pay schedule listed.

I haven't been to Skyline in 5 years but they did have FPDW along with several other full pay games at that time. However, the machines ran slower when FPDW was selected.

The casino itself is a small, smoky casino. On the good side the full pay machines were in the least smoky area of the casino. There was no player's club at that time although they did have occasional drawings.

They were still there the last I visited. Up the street at Sam's Town, they also have a bank of MG/MD machines with FPDW, DB DDB and JoB starting at quarter denom. They're near the theaters and donut shop.  Methinks Boulder Station has some also

I like the Sam's Town machine because it's not the uprights. The Palms ones are uncomfortable and I straddle the outside of the machine with my legs like a pregnant lady.

My VP play is strictly FPDW so I wanted to find out about Skyline since they have a $2.50 machine which doubles my hourly. If FPDW counts for a drawing of some sort I can also maximize my "random drawing" equity as well :)

Does anyone know about the El Cortez machine? I swear I could only find Double Deuces Wild scattered around the area and nothing with the 100.92% payscale.
