Triple Play DDB 25 cents

Post by Badger28 »

This is by far my favorite videopoker play, i found it last weekend in Cripple Creek,CO. It is interesting to see that a triple play DDB pays better than any DDB single hand videopoker in Black Hawk or Central City in CO, the triple play pays 9/6/4 while the single hand in Black Hawk or Central City only pays 9/5/4.

I have been to the site that gives the different games ratings, etc. I am clueless about what this means: $1/$2/$5 MG/MD/TITO.
I understand the dollar amount, the MG/MD, but what does the TITO mean?

Just to add to this: It means that the machine does not give or take coins. Only bills and ticket vouchers.

How great is TITO?  Lugging around coins was such a hassle.  I think AC is just about 100% TITO if not already.  My favorite invention after E-Z Pass and direct deposit.

The list of TITO positives is a HUGE one, but imo, the best of all is not having the person next to me incessantly feed the coins in, and incessantly cash them out. It was irritating more with respect to seeing them(peripherally) constantly reaching to their left(my right), to hit the freakin cash-out button.

Unfortunately, the best games around me are on old coin-droppers. This past week I had to lug 8 buckets of dollar tokens to the cashier ... OK, maybe it's not so bad after all.

Most places in BH/CC are down to 9/5/4 - or worse - for single line DDB.  Most places you'll only see 9/6/4 at the $1 level.  Fortune Valley in CC still has 9/6/4 DDB available on all denominations on their single line machines.

The worst paytable for DDB that I've seen in BH/CC is the Century casino - they have a $1 bank at their bar that's 6/5/4.  Said a bad word to myself when I saw that.

Actually, I miss the old coin-droppers in AC.  Sure, it's a lot easier to cash your ticket and not have to wait for an attendant to fill your machine with coins when it runs out.  But there was something about hearing those coins drop when you cashed out a big win, plus lugging those coins over to the automated coin counter was fun. LOL
