I am fully cognizant of the RNG, to the nth degree. But you know what I mean; that was one hot machine. I finished 45 in the black, I avoided the sack. I had yucks on the bucks, but the cents were intense.

BR, that was hysterical. Sharp and astute. 99.54% Betrayal. Same old movie on the bank. -$33 there today. You try being fiscally responsible on this iceberg. Got to snag the hot seat.

Out of curiosity how many of you hit cash out right after a 4 of a kind/SF//RF? During my last trip I wish I would have done this a lot more often..

When I play quarter VP I never put more than $20 in the machine at once.  I always cash out any time the counter reads $50 or more and add it to my take home money.  That's why I need $400 to play all day.  Each time I cash out I remove money from play.  The more jackpots I hit, the fewer hands I can play without touching my white tickets.  When all my money is in white tickets, I count them up and decide to leave or start another season.Without a substantial daily bankroll you are playing VP with the "wheel of fortune" method.   You can't expect to throw $50 here and there into this game and make steady progress.  You need time to let good things happen.   You could hit a royal in the next 5 minutes or never.  VP played mathematically is a long term process.A small denomination player can learn a lot from the experts as long as you keep things in perspective.  My personal preference is to play VP for entertainment.  I can't see how anyone is entertained by risking baskets of $100 bills, but that's their business.  Playing quarter VP comes with a lot of benefits.   No W2Gs, errors have small ramifications, no guilt or depression issues and you never have to visit a bankruptcy lawyer because of your gambling problems.   Some experts talk openly about these issues and some don't.

I was definitely one of those 100$ bill players. Newer players would be shocked how fast a 100$ can go.. I had exactly 3 100$ sessions where I hit one full house and one flush before my credits read 0

Tell me about it. I lost $110 today in no time on JOB dollar. I had a razor to my throat with one hand. Fortunately, my free hand hit a $125 quad.

I was once on a business trip and happened to drive by a casino I had played at before.  I had $300 in my wallet and decided to take a chance.  Not having much time, I ran up to a dollar DDB game and threw in all three hundred dollar bills.   The machine slurped up my $300 so fast I was stunned.   It didn't say thank you or kiss me goodbye.    I didn't even get a free drink or a dance.

FAA, you would have had to hit the deal and draw buttons at the exact same time as the winner did. Also, the winner could have been dealt a 3 of a kind but held the 3 to the royal instead.

I saw a neighbor in Tunica do that once. With 3 Aces on Super Aces Bonus!!! All quad Aces pay a half a royal in that game anyway. I don't know WTF he was thinking going for 3 to a Royal when he just needed one more Ace!?!?!
