River Palms In Laughlin...
My Wife and I usually play at the Ramada Express in Laughlin... Had bad luck there and tried the River Palms. Great place! Had no problem finding good machines in the video poker lounge and everybody seemed to be winning! I got 4 jacks on a DBP dollar machine after loading it twice! By the way, the Ramada express was sold to the Tropicana casino and will change it's name to Tropicana Express June 28 2007! Hope the don't go down hill with the gaming. Rooms are nice and great comps.

Laughlin's a nice town, though I can't say we've seen it outside the casino "strip." We took a day trip down there from Vegas in the spring of '02, found decent VP games, shopping and amenities, besides which our bus driver was a real character who filled us in on all the political dirt between the two casino towns inclusive. Plus I hit a $50 payoff on a nickel Popeye slot machine, ag-ag-ag-ag-ag-ag, please pass me th' spinach, Olivsk.

I played at River Palms last time I was in Laughlin and really liked it. In addition to good video poker they had a large selection of dollar slots. It seems so many casinos are going to video slots instead of reel slots-it disappoints me. The Aquarius (also in Laughlin) really decreased their amount of dollar slots. Went to more video.

I live part of the year right across the river from Laughlin, over in Arizona. It is a decent place and doesn't (yet) have the Vegas traffic. Some think the action is kind of slow but that's ok with me.

I guess the only FPDW left in Laughlin are at the River Palms (7). The Edgewater and Colorado Belle have been gutted.
