Wow. Someone else clinging to the propaganda that a miniscule amount of residual fumes is the "full benefit" of actually doing the smoking.
Do you guys not have a hair of logical reasoning on your heads?
Cigarettes are killers. Cigarettes cause unmeasurable amounts of damage internally and externally to the human body. You really should start reading a few of the studies done by unbiased parties regarding secondhand smoke. We can discuss the fact that cigarette filters do not break down, are bad for the ecology of mother earth and that I want to beat a smoker into submission every time I see one of them dump their ashtray into the roadway at a later date.

Or worse - into the coin tray of a VP machine. I saw a guy do that once in the non-smoking area of a casino..

Windsor Caesar's is beautifully non smoking to comply with Ontario, Canada regulations. They do have a small area of smoking hotel rooms, however.

Just got back from Windsor. Really enjoyed the non smoking aspect of the Casino. I wish I would have liked the pay tables on the VP machines as much.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, but you are inhaling almost as much second hand smoke in any building that shares an HVAC system between smoking and non-smoking areas.
Just wondering if you have a cite for that because it seems counterintuitive based on the drastic difference in perceived pollution between smoking and non-smoking areas.
But admittedly I don't understand HVAC systems. Is it common for casino resorts to have multiple HVAC systems?

The only safe route is to a totally non-smoking casino, and there are very few of these. Palace on the Mississippi Coast is one of them.
If you must visit the Mississippi Coast, the smoke-free Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi is a wonderful choice. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I personally enjoy all the smoke, it distracts me from all the drinking.

Mohegan Sun has many non smoking areas, but they are not walled off and there is very little enforcement. I won't play in the smoking areas even though some of the best machines are there. Besides the horrible stench and health hazzards, not all but most casino smokers are pigs who leave piles of ashes right on the machines or screens, burn holes into the upholstry, and could care less about bothering non smokers. I am constantly having to get them removed from the smoke free areas myself. I ask sort of nicely once. If I get grief, I get security. I have almost come to blows with drunk smokers a number of times. The problem with that is if there is a disturbance like that, everyone gets removed. I would love to have a boxing ring set up where I could duke it out with the bad ones even at my age. I can still hold my own with stuff like that. In addition, employee health has greatly suffered. The casino pretty much doesn't care because that one addiction usually means others like gambling and more money for them.

The M in Vegas. great comps, super rooms and lots of VP. Last trip hit for $1350 and $4003 on the same Ult X machine. Really good Casino Host's and the best buffet in Vegas, all the beer and wine you can drink and the food is superb.

The pay tables weren't the greatest, but I did quite well playing triple double bonus at the Horseshoe in Cleveland recently. And it being a totally non-smoking casino was refreshing to say the least!
