The only complaint I have with TDB is, well today.
I got dealt a royal for 12K points, which is three times harder to do than being dealt aces with a 2,3,4 - yet I did not get a spin.
I am a bit of a purist, and to me NOTHING should be worth more than a dealt RF (the same I can live with).
So, just maybe, when you have a game like Wheel Poker, you can pick a game like Double Double Bonus Poker.
This has been VERY interesting.
Opinions on the new daily contest format

I thought the purpose of the winners' challenge was to reward skill. Skill at video poker definitely starts with picking the right game. According to the analysis on winpoker, the volatility of TDB at today's paytable is 97.81% so whether or not one uses correct strategy, winning relies WAY more on luck rather than skill.

Pkahans,
You did not enter it correctly, and the percentage return of a game is referred to as "payback," or "return." Volatility is a different animal.

So there is still clearly a reason people are drawn to the contests, and I'd like to hear more on what that is.

I realize that the long term payback is almost 107%. My point was that it takes a lot of luck to achieve that, which is highly unlikely in just 300 hands. I'm sure the wheel feature adds some ev and the 1 in 3 chance smoothes the volatility slightly, but it's tough to overcome the extra cost of 3 credits per deal, especially when a 3 of a kind only pays 2 for 1. The higher the volatility, the less likely one is to finish ahead after the 100 deals allotted.

I love the Winner's Challenge, but only if the element of skill is involved. I like the option of choosing the game I play. I don't mind sacrificing the thrill of the high-paying hand for the increased chance of a winning session. I enjoy that challenge much more than playing with the hope of hitting a big hand to be in the running for a prize. But that's just my preference. I'm so boring I would play the daily if the only paytable offered was 9/6 JOB, but I also enjoy playing games, in the monthly contest, that I would never touch in a casino because my bankroll couldn't handle the swings.

Before Webman put in the winners challenge you would play the daily contest and your only hope of winning was to be dealt a monster hand. Then along came the winners challenge, now you have a choice, do I want to win the daily contest or go for the top ten in points. I always played for the points. For me much more fun. How many of us play this way, I dont know. I for one would prefer the winners challenge to go back like it was last month. If not so be it........it is what it is.

Big fan of the new daily contest format. It gives you more equality for both the winner's challenge and the daily contest. Previously, it seems you had to make a choice...play a low risk game for the winner's challenge or go higher risk for the daily. Once you're done with the daily contest play you can play any game you want!

So the options as I see them are:1) Put all the game types back in, and cancel the Winner's Challenge after this month2) Leave it as it is with one game type for Daily Contests / Winner's Challenge, and have the Monthly Contest be the one with multiple game types available.I would appreciate any feedback regarding this prior to putting the survey together. Thank you all for your thoughts so far...
I play for fun with the a lottery type dream of maybe one day winning a contest. It's not fun for me if I can only play one game. It's especially not fun because I hate Triple Double with the 10 for 3 of a kind. So far I've only played one daily contest this month whereas I was playing 8/day with the side contest. If you at least changed the game every contest I might find one I liked to play. I'm okay with DDB, DB, SDDB (I think that's what it is) and bonus. I also would play dueces (Ultimate X is good with that). So why not mix up the one game you offer each day?
