Apropos of nothing at all I have been approached by prostitutes twice in my life, both when I was single, and both times it was about as erotic as a cold shower. For anyone contemplating that, it's nothing at all like you see on TV or the movies. I wouldn't recommend it.

You have my sympathies for your kidney stones. I had one years ago and it was like being stabbed without the blood. I get no props from women who have had children but it's gotta be in the top two as far as physical pain is concerned. The only thing worse than the pain is seeing how small the dam thing is when it passes.

As for health care more generally, we might could take some of the billions of dollars per year that get spent on it and institute, I dunno, a single-payer system like, say, every other industrialized country in the world has, most of which spend less money and get better results than the U.S. Just sayin'. Might save on ambulance rides and ER visits for those without coverage.

(LOL)(LOL) I had one sit next to me start playing VP and was hinting stuff, my wife had just gone to get us some food(I sit and eat and play same time(lol)well she sit back next me wife and gives me food and the lady of the night says oh looks like you guys got some good food,and gets up leaves couple minutes later, Wife was not happy she knew. hookers in Vegas are to be expected playing in any casino between the hours of 2 am and 6 am, especially sitting at a video poker bar.  Strip casinos will have generally better quality women than elsewhere, and a dirty little secret is bartenders at various casino hotels all over the city have arrangements with certain women, whereby the bartender gets a tip (like 20 bucks) for every guy a girl picks up at the bar.   Some hotels tolerate this because quite simply, enough of their customers/visitors WANT hookers.....generally, in Vegas, a hooker can function inside a hotel as long as she is respectful, non-agressive and doesnt cause trouble or have a customer complain about her.   It is still illegal, but clearly law enforcement is fighting a totally losing uphill unpopular battle on this front, so they stick to periodic stings and targeting women who clearly are from out of town. AC and hookers is a much murkier story.....in four plus years, I have only been propositioned by two (2) hookers, although one of them is a repeat offender, some asian woman who gets herself a room at one of the boardwalk places and then haunts the casino for a couple days trying to get you to go up to her room for a oral surprise (she is pretty blatant and brazen, which again begs the question where the hell is AC security?)   I hate ratting or turning anyone in where they wil get in real trouble (I believe in free enterprise and even though I gave up crack and hookers when I was 25, I still dont judge others who indulge ...) The penalty in AC for prostitution is actualy real steep, so that is why much of the flesh trade there is conducted via all the "massage parlors" out on Atlantic Avenue, and in the strip clubs (a lot of the dancers will visit you privately in your room if you meet their price.  but judging by their looks and tatoos, I would NEVER risk my life or limbs, or wheels) In Vegas, there is two different penalties for prostitutes, one for the strip and one for downtown.....it is much WORSE for a girl to get busted off-strip than busted IN a strip hotel;  dont ask me why, it hs something to do with the fact Vegas Metro covers the city, while clark county sheriff covers the strip....sheriffs are nicer I guess, plus the county doesnt have the overhead, and hence the need to squeeze hookers, that the city does.

As long as Vegas hookers got into this AC thread somehow, the pushiest I found were in Reno. I had one follow me to the elevator, all the way to my floor, and to the door of my room, all the time I am saying "No Thank You".

  I agree billyjoe. I had two 300 pounders (not that there's anything wrong with the larger women) get me alone in the elevator and they asked me if I was lonely and I replied "I'm not THAT lonely." That was the longest 15 story elevator ride I have ever been on.
