I've heard that the distinction between class II and class III isn't as cut and dried as most people think. However, the key question you need answered is whether the games works off a RNG. I think we covered this before. There will be either a bingo card or a little genie that comes forth every time you make a mistake and give you a bonus. This is usually explained in the help screens on the machine.
 
Without these corrective measures the machines are internally run by an RNG and your decisions are final.

It sounds to me like the machines are OK. I know I've had bad streaks in the past at specific casinos, even in LV. One casino in particular has been particularly unlucky for me. As a results I've cut my play there somewhat but still play some. You should do what feels right. This could simply be a losing streak that everyone goes through.
 
Which casinos have the best paytables? It might be time to let that be the decision maker.

I really wasn't referring to an overall payback. The only thing that should matter to you is the payback of the games YOU are playing. For example, it doesn't mean a thing to me if the slots payback 92% at one casino and 90% at another. I can tell the payback of the VP machines by the paytables and that's all I need to know.
I realize you aren't as anal as I am about paytables, and I suspect that is because you've had success in the past playing games with negative returns. It could be that what you are experiencing is simply a long overdue slump. Maybe it's time for you to be a little more anal.

I play very little JOB. Occasionally, I play progressive triple-play JOB at  Fiesta but I play their NSUD progressives more often. I also play some FPDW, DB and I played quite a bit of SDB this past year. However, I play OEJs more than all of the others combined.
 
I mentioned that I have had slumps in certain casinos as well.  I think it is a very common situation by people who play in multiple casinos. There's one casino I play at quite often now that I once had a 3 year slump. I've done well there the last couple of years. So, I'm not sure there's any real answer to your dilemma. Southland is probably fine but I certainly wouldn't blame you if you decided to avoid the place. That's probably what I would do.
