Thank you Webman for the new Keno contest.  I am the worlds worst Keno player and would like to learn the game.  I have no idea what I am doing and the highest score I have gotten so far is 956.  To all those that are playing the game feel free to chime in.  If by chance I get lucky enough to finish high enough to receive a gift card I am making the following offer.  Whoever gives me what I deem to be the best advice on how to get better scores on Keno, I will get their mailing address and mail them my gift card.

Congrats to the current leader WILDCAT11.  Also to ERIEPENN who has two of the top ten scores.  If either of you happens to see this topic, please share your secrets.  In particular when I go to Laughlin I see a lot of people playing Keno.  I have never played at the casino b/c I do not know the best strategy.  Again Webman, thank you for the Keno contest.  Look forward to playing in it the next three days.

I usually try to pick the numbers that are going to come up. When I do that, it works every time!

This is the first time I've ever played Keno and it took forever to get through the 100 hands. Seems like a slow-moving game where nothing much happens. Not much fun for me, but I know Keno lovers thrive on it.

Still waiting for some advice from any or all of the people out there that play a lot of Keno.  There has got to be some of you that read this forum.  Are you better off to do quick picks?  Do you bunch your numbers together?  Do you spread them out for a better chance?  It seems on cleopatra keno anyway that the key is to get into the 12 spin bonus.  So far I am 2 for 4 at reaching the 700 points.  Like I said, I am a terrible Keno player and would appreciate any help from any of the seasoned keno pros out there.

Chatty, I play but really don't believe it's anything but luck, like video poker.  When you're gonna hit, you're gonna hit.
What I find coincidental on occasion is that when I play, I seem to have better luck when I choose numbers that are attached and/or bunched.  I usually play between 7-9 numbers at a time but go with the flow of the numbers I seem o see come up like if there seems to be some pattern.  Just try to have some fun and maybe try using certain shapes for numbers or sequence.  Good luck and have fun, that's all.

Thank you Galeygoo.  I am up to 3 for 6 so far in hitting the 700 points.  I have noticed when I space them out a little and keep the numbers somewhat close together I seem to have better luck getting to the bonus rounds.  I have had no luck at all with the quick picks.  Getting to the bonus round seems to be the key.  That and hoping that you can nail a 8 out of 8 or other perfect or almost perfect hit which so far I have not done.  I think the best hit I have had so far was 7 out of 10 and it paid 560.  Anyway, back to keno.  I haven't given up yet.

Good Luck and have fun to all you keno players! I was wondering if you might think it a good idea, Webman, instead of game chat and contest chat, how about vp chat and keno chat? Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of good buddies on here that play keno, and not trying to get rid of them, lol, but really not that many vp players use contest chat on a regular basis and just thought it would be nice for them to have their own chat room as I basically have no idea what they are talking about! I keep waiting for Cleo to come out and do a dance or something but she never shows up. Anyhow, just thought I'd throw it out there and see what everyone thinks. So glad you guys finally got your long awaited contest.

Finished last night winning 6 out of 10 sessions with a high of 1182 and a low of 520.  If you add the scores together I was within 50 points of breaking even if I was at a casino.  Does anyone know at CET properties if Keno play accumulates tier credits at $5 per credit like regular slots or at $10 per credit like VP?
