Let me know how the rooms are. We'll be staying there first time in
early Aug. for anniversary.
We usually stay downtown and like the action also. Good eats at Main
St Station.
Lots of luck!

Mainstreet Station is the best. Make sure you sign up for their players card so you get the scratch cards when you hit quads in VP.

You get a quad and then wait 10 minutes sometimes to get some floor person's attention! BTW. it's Quads or better for the scratch tickets at MSS so if you get a straight flush, press the Change button! I have gotten dozens of these tickets and never have I gotten one for anything other than $1.Do be sure and "shop" the paytables. The last time I was out there, there was a bank of machines, all identical, but only one of them was full pay!

...then you were playing below the $0.25 level, as the minimum amount on a scratch card at the $0.25 and above level is $2.00.
MSS has 9/6 JoB in the bartop games right by the buffet -- good VP and fast drink service makes me happy.

Just breaking into VP back then so was looking for good nickel games. Didn't find many full pay, but there were full pay DDB at MSS (one machine out of a bank of at least 10) and then nickel JOB at 4-Queens. The rest of the full-pay were all in outlying casinos....Locals Houses.

I go to Vegas every couple of months and the only place downtown I play is the El Cortez on freemont street, 600 block. It has a lot of full pay nickle and quarter progressive VP. Good place.

BobFor some totally mystical reason, I have trouble getting past the Blackjack tables at EC!
