Things are going great so far. Since we are playing video poker for 10 days straight, we decided to go with my single coin quarter deuces progessive strategy to conserve money.  As luck would have it, I hit a $1000 max coin Royal the first day in Blackhawk.  Now we're getting somewhere...   We played in Blackhawk for three days and drove down to New Mexico for two days.  The odds in New Mexico stink.  They are even worse than Florida and that's saying something.  We are in Cripple Creek today and will be returning to Blackhawk to finish out our trip.  So far, I have hit one $1,000 Royal, four $50 quad deuces and two $250 quad deuces. I'm up about $700 and am happy as a clam.  If I come home even or better, it would have been a great trip.  Blackhawk is the best.  Lots of 99% quarter deuces around if you look.

Glad you are having a profitable and fun trip. Where are you playing at in Blackhawk?

Yeah, for a long time, I wasn't sure if VP was Class III in New Mexico because I never seen anything listed in VPFree2 from the state. But I did eventually find documentation that's it's Class III. Games just appear to be terrible there.

I'm thinking Colorado has the some of the best VP selection outside of Vegas too. Especially for Deuces anyway.

Good luck on the home stretch in Colorado, Phil!

From what we've seen, New Mexico VP is a total rip off. The odds are horrible plus they even have the balls to cut down the 5 coin Royal unless you play 10 coins or more. If I had to play there, I would quit playing VP altogether.

The best quarter deuces game in Blackhawk is at the Lodge Casino and the Monarch. Both are in the 99% range. Two of the Cripple Creek Casinos also have great deuces.  Today, I got up substantially and was able to play a 99% dollar deuces game with a $6,600 Royal.  I was delt 4 hearts to a Royal once with max coins and was sure I was going to hit it.  I didn't, but it was exciting as hell!  My wife and I have played VP all over the country and so far Cripple Creek and Blackhawk have the best VP outside of Nevada.  Tomorrow we are back to Blackhawk.

Sounds like a great trip Phil....By the way, I have seen Foxwoods pull that crap with the 10 coin in to get the correct payout for the Royal in the High Limit section a year or so ago....Keep slugging them...I don't want to hear about any batting average below 300 on your return.

Our next road trip will be to Connecticut in July.  We are just starting to scout the VP there.   Any info would be appreciated.

Maybe if you make a stop in Atlantic City we may run into you. One of our Summer trips we have planned is to Caesar's July 8th through 12th. We have never been to AC in the Summer. Last year we went first part of May and it was a little too cold but when we went back at the end of September the weather was perfect.

Hi Phil. Mohegan Sun still has 9/6 quarters for job and 15/9/4/4 Deuces. Neither will pay player points now called Momentum Dollars. There is still a good selection of vp machines located in all 3 casinos. Earth, Wind, and Sky. All connect indoors to each other.
I am not sure about Foxwoods lately, but I believe they no longer offer the above paytables and haven't for some time. They still have a big selection though with just a couple of 100 or 50 play penny and up games and quite a few nickel games. All have poor paytables, but in the short run, who knows what might happen.
Good luck and hope I will be around when you folks come to Ct. I have good points etc. left at Mohegan, but hardly anything at Foxwoods. If we hook up at Mohegan, at least it won't cost you to eat or drink.
