Anyone have this game available?

If anyone has some time to kill for an hour or so, try playing DBDW this way on this site. I have tried it quite a few times and can't seem to lose. Will see what happens tonight at the casino if I can get one of the 2 nickel machines.

1. Choose the Multi-Strike game from the menu.
2. Pick the DBDW game
3. You start with 10,000 credits. Just play the bottom line with one unit or bet 1
4. Don't up your bet unless you lose 8 consecutive hands
5. Anytime you win more than a bet start your count over at 1 and count up to 8 consecutive losing hands
6. When you do lose 8 consecutive hands, bet 2 and stay at that level until you again exceed 10k credits or you lose 8 in a row, then bet 3. Anytime at all you exceed 10k credits, start all over betting 1 again.
7. Keep the same pattern all the way up to bet 5. Either stay at 5 or if you have a calculator handy, continue the same pattern of bet 6, 7, 8, and so forth when you lose 8 hands in a row until you again exceed your original 10k credits. Then you either quit or start all over with bet one.
8. The machine I am going to play at the casino
allows me to bet up to 10 units a line, then I can switch to quarters on the same machine if needed and keep the same pattern
9. This method is just another variation of the Martingale Clone method I use. It is lots of fun and not too expensive if you can find a low denomination machine to start with. Hitting even one premium hand with several coins bet will usually bring you back over your starting bankroll. I'm sure there is a risk of ruin somewhere, I just haven't managed to hit it yet luckily. Have fun and let me know here if anyone comes out a complete loser playing this way

The paytable at Mohegan Sun is 20/9/4/3/2. Not super, but not too bad at 98.61%

It wouldn't be too bad if this was 98.61%...

But it's not. When the wild royal pays 20 for 1, the game is only 97.68%. When the wild royal pays 25 for 1, then it's 98.61%.

Played it at Hollywood last night because I saw this thread (and it's one of their best nickel games). Didn't win since I didn't hit 5 Aces there like I did in December They have it for multistrike nickels too, but oddly the royal only pays 250 for 1 even with max bet, which hurts the game even more. Perfect play on Multistrike (good luck with that) makes the game 98.00% if the royal is 800 for 1.

I don't know how long they will keep the two machines with the 98.61%. Yeah, the Wild Royal does pay 25 at Mohegan and the right amount for the Royal with 5 nickels in. They also let you bet up to 10 nickels with the same 800 for 1 on a 5 coin and up bet. I do much better on Multi-Strike playing just the bottom line....If I could yank out one of their 2 machines and mail it to you I would. All of the other nickel games in there as well are 98 and up.
I actually caught quite a break last night and this morning playing up there. I had 10 nickels in just playing the bottom line and caught deuces quads twice in about 4 hours. I saved the 2 bills until early this morning and right after breakfast with the wife, decided to give the Double Down Stud quarter machine an hour before we headed home. Playing Bonus Deuces Wild and starting at one coin with my risky Martingale clone method, I was almost back to even and the 2 hundred just about gone. Wife had called on the cell to remind me it was time to hit the road. Unfortunately, I had progressed up to a whopping 16 quarters a bet before doubling on a hit or hopeful hit after seeing the first 4 cards. I was dealt 4 to a Wild Royal and the 5th card completed it for a nice end to the gambling day and a $640- hit. Almost ran to the parking garage so I wouldn't be tempted to play another machine on the way out.

The original post says 20. Mainly why I brought it up. What's nice about this game is that I don't think I've ever seen a paytable worse than 20/9/4/3/2 (97.68%). Same idea goes for 6/5 Super Aces (97.78%) and 6/5 Super Double Double Bonus (97.69%). Hollywood St. Louis has all three of these for as cheap as nickels. Harrah's LV has the last game for penny spin poker.

Yeah, I posted 20/9/4/3/2 meaning 20 for the cheaper five of a kind. I never thought about the Wild Royal being only 20 at some casinos. I probably should have stated 25/20/9/4/3/2 to make it more clear. Anyway, good luck and as we know, anything can and does happen short term. My dad sent me to the store yesterday ( 90 years young ) to pick up some of the original Miller High Life that was on sale for $ 7.99 for a 12 pack. Enjoyed a couple with him. I especially liked the old style slim bottles. He remembers all of the old beer names, but not many of the new ones. He may have thought that price was for a case too, but thats OK> At 90 he is entitled. When I grew up, all we drank was a local brew called Hulls Export. Was great on tap and very cheap. I don't know if it ever made it out west past this area. I was there for the last day of operations ( sad ) and they were giving out beer to everyone. It was in an old run down area of New Haven Ct. but had lots of proud and dedicated employees. Oh well, just a little bit of history from up here. By the way, when I say cheap I mean a pony draft at the bar was a nickel and a full 12 ouncer was a dime. That would have been in the 60's.
For anyone who is a history buff like me, you can read a good article about Hulls on the Dailynutmeg.com from a Feb 26 2014 article. I don't know how to attach the link. Now back to video poker.

[QUOTE=Tedlark]   Olds I thought that Bob may have mentioned in the past that he taught at South Point? I can't remember but I may be interested in sitting in on one of his classes.

I'm glad you mentioned that.            Before I teach at South Point (10 weeks beginning Wednesday September 10) I'll be teaching a 4-week semester at the Palms on Wednesday in August. The schedule will be 9/6 JoB, 10/7 Double Bonus, 10/6 Double Double Bonus, and Full Pay Deuces Wild.        The classes are free and you are all welcome.Bob

If you slid in a 9/7 TDB session, it may be worth a plane ride from FLA to 100-degree Vegas in August. I am ALWAYS open to new information.

It doesn't exist outside of Nevada period. No 100%+ game that is non-progressive exists outside of Nevada.

I wouldn't mind taking a class and saying a quick hello, but often I am often making trips arriving wed. night and leaving on tuesday afternoon since it's usually cheaper airfare.

And for August, I'm afraid you might be out of luck billyjoe. The Palms doesn't even have 9/7 TDB there according to VPFree2, and I doubt they want Bob teaching a game they don't offer.

He taught the class this past spring at South Point though.
