Next AC visit

If anyone is planning a trip to AC after July 4th,  please post a line here!    I will be there around July 8 for at least a week (i.e. July 15  but I may very well add a couple more days if my No limit Holdem play is particularly good).I will be all over the place:  Trump (both properties);  Resorts;   Harrahs (1 nite)  and SHOWBOAT (1 nite)!!!Yes indeed, this will be my warmup to my planned August Farewell stay at the Showboat......I have at least one  2-night stay planned in AUgust for the Showboat, where I hope to accumulate and collect stuff that they will be giving away as they prepare to shutter the place for good on August 31......it will be both a festive and depressing time, as many Showboat employees who cannot secure immediate transitory employment in one of the three other CET properties will be looking to either (a) go out with a bang  or (b)  stick it royally up the corporate poop chute of CET and possibly start giving money away to all their favorite players and customers who, over the years, treated them especially well and tried to make them feel good about themselves.       That would be someone like.....ME!Dont fret folks, if I do happen to be the worthy recipient of a employee-sponsored farewell parting gift from the showboat, I will not arouse anyone's jealousy by relating on this forum the specifics of such a event!      we know how petulant certain posters can get....On the flip side, when I finally meet some of the truly good and worthy posters from this forum like olds442, Billyjoel et al, I will share in person any such stories (as well as the fruits from such events).....speaking of fruit(s), eh....ah......nevermind......

Any fruit in particular Da?with me, its a toss up between seedless grapes or blueberries.   strawberries come in next.....but these are not the fruits I am envisioning walking away from the corpse of Showboat with......personally I'd like about $5K in poker or blackjack chips which I cashout  approximately 8 minutes before they closeup the cage for good.....I'd truly like to be the LAST player to be paid before they say farewell......that's something I have never done or laid claim to, being the FINAL, the very last player to be paid before a casino flatlines.....I might be interviewed by local news (or perhaps even CNN, as the boy who cried WOLF Blitzer....!)     If I get such a chance, I will Immediately switch on the auto rant and start peppering the interviewer with all my points of light as to WHY atlantic city in general, and the Showboat in particualr, are still .......STILL   circling the bowl like a turd on autopilot.....and more importantly what it will take to save the turd from being flushed out into Delaware bay.That's my hope......too bad I couldnt have Billyjoe there standing behind me in a white medical overcoat pushing my wheelchair while I flail my arms and have a "seizure" of grief over the closing of Showboat and the state of AC's economy, while I drool all over whatever microphone or notepad is in my face.   One timely, well placed conniption performed by the right person can change the world.

Not in AC until October, DBI have it noted sir.....do you know the exact day(s) you will be in AC in October??       More importantly....what is your favorite fruit billyjoe?  Hey jimdeuces, if you are out there and read this, let me know if and when you will be around....I will definitely be in the Borgata playing poker a good part of this stay.edited to add:  I have to come clean......while I sincerely want to meet billyjoe and jimdeuces, I think a major motivation at this point is just to have a couple universally well respected and liked posters here actually meet me and then be able to report back to the forum that, unlike what other posters attempt to portray or say about me, I am not the troll or turd they claim.   I think the cyber world will BELIEVE Billyjoe when he states emphatically "Da Burglar is NOT a TURD".......he is not a Turd-burglar!    and if by chance billyjoe does think I am a turd, I am prepared to bribe him to say otherwise.   whats your price billyjoe?
