At Golden Nugget in Altantic City, they have a "gimmick" / promotion whereby each day, a person playing certain standard Video Poker games who catches a natural four of a kind in the "card of the day", they receive a 100 credit BONUS payout!Anyone else out there encountered such a gimmick in other casinos across the country? Anything similar?I personally only play at Golden Nugget AC on rare instances, and have not yet hit this "card of the day" bonus yet. A friend of mine did way back in January....the card of the day was "9" and he hit quad Nines playing $1 9/6 JOB. The attendant took about 30 minutes to walk over and give him his 100 dollar bill, but he was happy nonetheless. Nice little bonus I guess. Speaking of the Golden Nugget-AC, this might be one of the more underrated places in AC. I am seriously thinking of spending quality time there since they do have some decent (99%) paytables and the property itself is in good shape and clean. If I could establish some play there, get the comps rolling, then I could also "pivot" my play from the dead boardwalk over to the marina properties (Borgata & Harrahs). What few people I know of who win anything in AC are doing it at the 3 marina properties.

After a few bourbons, and some flirting, I am usually voted "card of the day" by the waitresses, but I guess that doesn't count.

You actually told me something useful and relevant, and something I did not know!I honestly was not aware they had this gimmick in Vegas....anywhere!Now, is it possible for either tedlark or someone else familiar with this topic to share WHICH vegas casinos have this and what the specifics are (i.e. AMount awarded)??

Mostly small casinos have this promo. I believe Jokers Wild on Boulder Highway still does this on occasion. Usually consists of 100 coin bonus on the denom you're playing and they credit it to your players card. Many gas stations and grocery stores do this. Card of the day or any 4oak gets you a spin of a digital wheel that earns $5 to $1000. Neighborhood bars have a version of this as well.

Also, the credit the 100 credits to your card as slot play....Golden Nugget AC gave my friend a 100 dollar bill .... I'd rathe rhave the cash

I just returned from Laughlin and they have the card of the day at the Golden Nugget there and the card of the month at Riverside. I hit it at both places. FYI - The Golden Nugget Laughlin, up until this trip, had full pay DDB on dollars and the coins actually dropped out! On this trip...all of those machines are gone....replaced with new machines with paper vouchers. The panache of the GN Laughlin is gone!!!
