Edited to add: I just reviewed the benefits of having basic, silver, and gold memberships and all three are elgible to access the forums and it says nothing about only gold members being able to post photos in the forum.

Yeah, I'm not a gold member. I use photobucket.

I tried to look at some of your old pics yesterday on here. Nickel TDB might have been 7/5 but the pic was blurry enough where I'm not positive. You need a nicer camera to document your big wins!

Should be back up in Chicago later this week, I'll be tempted to lobby to go to Four Winds for a bit. I don't think I ever got around to checking DreamCard on the floor. I think partly because they were taken when I was there. I know the DreamCard at Blue Chip has a terrible paytable.

Vman is usually easier to get to those two Dreamcard machines at Four Winds late at night after midnight.

I haven't played it at the Chipper so I can't really pass judgement on it there one way or the other.

7/5 at Four Winds on TDB sounds about right. I don't play DDB there so I can't say if the table is the same as TDB.

Did I go overboard playing at the .25 denomination at Hollywood Lawrenceburg, IN? It was over my comfort level but so what, I wasn't playing with the kid's college fund...

Ahh the Dream Card. I have played it extensively, and the swings can be huge. I normally play the 3hand quarters, and at $7.50 per play, a hundred can go in just a few minutes- especially if the DC doesn't pop up much, or if it does and only pairs up your jacks (leaving you down 15 credits for the hand).

On the other hand, big wins can come frequently: quads on all hands, 3 to a royal becoming 4 to a royal etc. I usually only give it a shot with my last of my bankroll, or with "their" money if I am ahead and heading for the door.

I imagine that a large bankroll would be required for an evening of dream card to weather the money sucking droughts. But in the long run, results should roughly mirror the results of other less volatile games.

Here is my results after 5000 hands on this site of DC, Royal Flush total 6, 4AWK 3 . I played 5 hand TDB the first 4000 hands then did 10 hand DW and TDB the last 1000 hands, credits won the first 4000 hands was  6635, after the full 5000 hands credits won 5785. Can one really hit 6 RF at the casino in this game in 5000 hands? Its a blast playing but can one really have this many hits? HAND 2894 0F 5000 RFHAND 3236 0F 5000 4WKHAND 3416 0F 5000 AWKHAND 4210 OF 5000 RFHAND 4066 OF 5000 RFHAND 4940 OF 5000 AWK

Any game is a smart game to play if you know how to play it, and it has optimal pay tables, and you have more than your share of good luck. It is definitely not stupid and boring.

Unfortunately Dream Card at Four Winds doesn't have optimal paytables.

I lobbied for an impromptu trip there last night and was able to get on one of the machines thankfully. The place was pretty busy!

Here's partly why I could never tell the paytables in Ted's pics.

The casino lighting gets in the way!

But I did look at the paytables and took note.

5c/10c: 7/5 DDB (96.66% w/DC), 7/5 JoB (96.57% w/DC), 7/5 TDB (96.01% w/DC), and 20/10/8/4/4/3 Deuces (96.02% w/DC)

25c: 8/5 JoB (97.73% w/DC), 8/5 DDB (97.52% w/DC), 8/6 TDB (97.43% w/DC), and 20/11/9/4/4/3 Deuces (97.03% w/DC)

But this doesn't mean you can't win on the game. This happened to the lady next to me while I looked at the paytables. I'm a good luck charm to my neighbors a lot during my royalless streak...meh

This is what I had to settle for at Four Winds.

Then played "AC" Joker Poker w/STP for pennies, likely badly. No quints for $40, obv.   First time I lost there, not a lot though since I was mostly scouting machines or doing extreme low rolling.

Attn Billyjoe!!! They do have 9/7 TDB Double Pay (99.22% overall) for $1,$2,$5 denominations on the Five Star Poker units in the high limit room at Four Winds!

Also hit up bluechip earlier. This hit helped cover my beer money, damn Midwest, but I would have much rather had AWAK with a 10X on DDB that I saw another guy hit for 20,000 nickels.

Fighting a hangover today. I definitely overindulged on the beer.

Vman if I wasn't so tired last night I  would have possibly met up with you. As for the hit on the machine next to you; if made by me it would have garnered me a nice 1K payoff. Maybe 2K if I were playing dimes.   On a side note, I did get two voicemails and one email from my new "Senior Executive Host" at Horseshoe Cincinnati.
