Tons of 99% games there DB. If interested, I will post a pretty complete list where they are. All at the quarter level and can change to dollar also.

Glad you did decent in cash games.

As far as vp goes, VPFree2 says they do have 9/6 JoB for quarters in a few spots. Listing might be out of date though. And also the 98.91% deuces Olds has played a good amount.

OK here goes. This is from memory. Next trip I will make some additional notes. To make it easier to find them at Mohegan, just look for the small stick on signs on the machines that say something like...This machine does not pay momentum dollars...As far as I know all of these that have job in them will be 9/6 machines. Also in most all of these you will find the 98.91% Deuces games among other good paytables for most of the draw poker games we play here.
Starting with the casino of the earth...In the old poker room, that employees call the Mike area go up the 3 marble stairs. Walk toward the right around the edge of the wall. Some there and some scattered throughout this room. Quite a few actually.
Go into the Hall of lost tribes room or as I call it, the Hall of lost dollars room. This is a non smoking area. There is a cube of 6 when you first walk in. There are at least 4 at the bar at the far section.
If you walk out of the Hall of Lost Tribes and take a left, you will see another bar with huge tv screens. This is a smoking section. There are several here.
Go over to the wolf den and look for another bar where you can look in at the wolf den and watch the show. There are some at this bar. There are at least 2 other bars in the Earth casino where they have 9/6 machines.
Now for the casino of the Sky....Walk through the mall to the far end. Walk past the huge waterfall and keep going. At the end of the mall, stay left and walk past Geno's food court and Soltoro restaurant. You will see a big dome they call the Turtle Dome. On the other side of the nickel poker games, there are 3 of 9/6 machines. Under the dome is non smoking too. If you walk out of the Turtle Dome and pass the restroom, you will see another bar a circular one and there are some there.
On the other side of the sky casino, between the Arena and Cabaret theatre, is another poker area. There are a few in there, but at the bar in that area, there are some too on the far end of the bar.
In the wind casino, they just put in 2 rows of older 9/6 machines about in the middle room near the table games. I think at the end of the wind casino room near the wall of water, there is another bar that has some.
That is about it. I can't remember the names of the bars, just the location. Some of the machines let you change denominations to dollars from quarters.
Last, but not least if you are about out of money or even if you aren't, there are 2 nickel Multi-Strike games. You can also change them to quarters and maybe dollars. One is in the Earth casino in that Mike section where you go up the 3 marble stairs. It is your first machine on your right at the top of the 3 stairs. The other one is in the Sky casino in that section between the Arena and Cabaret Theatre. There are a few other ones, but not at the nickel level. These games are in generas 98-99 percent games. Eat your money fast, but if lucky, can win big bucks on a nickel game.
If all else has failed, try one of the few remaining Double Down Stud machines. They are in the 97-98 percent range, but for a buck and a quarter, you have a shot at 5 grand if dealt a Royal. You even get 200 bucks for a quarter when doubled on the Deuces wild games within the Double Down Stud menu. I know this post is long, but the casino is big and this may save a few people some time from wandering around aimlessly...Good Luck...

HOLY CRAP!     Thanks Olds!   I sure did not mean for you to put yourself out like that, but it is DEFINITELY appreciated.....I probably wont be going back to Mohegan for at least a month, but I have printed your e-mail to study before hand, as well as take with me.......MY NEXT TRIP THERE probably will fall towards the end of August, depending on what POKER tourney scheduling takes place over the next month or two.      My next extended trip to AC will be August 3 through August 9 so I will not be in Mohegan until after I return from that trip, but I will try to visit mohegan before the NEXT AC trip which will be August 31 through September 7....Let me know if and when You plan on being in Mohegan Sun in the upcoming future and we'll see about meeting up.......Also, didnt you say you might be able to visit AC before the years out?Vman, thanks for the info as well.......I have found, sadly, VPFree2 is not reliable for casinos that are not in Nevada (or really, not in VEGAS!) ;   Much like a lot of the on-site gaming maps you find in Atlantic City casinos, casinos like Harrahs or Caesars.   They have those maps of the property and a listing of all their games and where they are located.....but much of the time they are inaccurate, sometimes GROSSLY so!

No problem. I probably should print it out myself. Will add if any significant changes are noticed. Haven't been up in almost 2 weeks due to medical issues with the folks. If things calm down, will be back to my usual routine of 2-3 trips a week and will post or contact when and where etc. Would be good to meet up. So far, haven't run into any of the vp.com folks. Hoping to catch FP on the 29th, but depends on things at home. Any prayers coming our way appreciated. In the meantime, good luck and health for all.

I should add that the old poker room where you go up the 3 marble steps also has a nice Wheelchair ramp to scoot right up there. The downside of this " Mike " area is it has a low ceiling and the smoke either hangs in the air or drifts sideways depending where and how busy it is. Sometimes in the back corner on the right it isn't too bad especially in off peak times. There is also a row of Pickem in this area which I never play, but get lots of action from the regulars. I haven't paid attention to the paytables. I can probably check if someone needs to know ahead of time. I don't know if there are other pickem machines in other areas. Don't really like that game.
The regular concierge desk employee names who are also very helpful are Lu Lu, Brian, Allison, and Brie. Sometimes they have relief people too, but in my experience they can and do help with the little or big things. Not so much on gaming itself, just everything that goes along with it.

Most of the time I have found vpfree to be accurate at the various CET casinos I play at including Bossier City, La., NOLA, Reno, Harrah's and Harvey's in Lake
Tahoe, and most recently at Bally's and Caesar's at AC. I believe VMAN you mentioned that you do a lot of work helping them keep up to date with the changing pay tables. Thanks go to you and others that volunteer their time so that we can go to vpfree and narrow down our search for the better paying machines. Is it 100% accurate? Probably not, but it is the best resource we have. Vpfree is much closer to being reliable than to not being reliable IMO.

Vpfree is much closer to being reliable than to not being reliable IMO.Is it better than Nothing?  well sure......am i glad to have it....who would not be glad?   AND kudos TO vMAN (and anyone else helps out) keeping the list semi-functional.   But it is NOT accurate for  AC  Caesars. In the case of caesars, it only mentions a handful of games above 98% return, and it is obvious they still have the info from the PRE-brand new server based games installation.   As you might recall, Caesars AC completely removed all OLD machines and replaced all its video poker offerings with new state of the art (and extremely uncomfortable) server based games.   I am not going to check ballys because I dont care about bally's.Point is, if someone REALLY has to know what a casino has, just call and ask...but I think in many cases, getting there and being surprised (or disappointed) is part of the "experience".....most of us not named Bob Dancer will play at least a little no matter what the paytable if we have ourselves booked for a couple nights and have been planning the trip for awhile.

Not care about Bally's? Maybe you should. While we were in AC, most of our VP play was at Bally's. Through vpfree they confirmed that the triple play 8/5 bonus poker progressives were still there. With the progressive and at only $10 a point if you have average luck the payback is over 99% and probably closer to 100%. The machines were packed. Especially on 10x multiplier day. If you or anyone else is interested in playing them there are 12 in the SE corner near the men and women's restrooms and 6 more near the poker room.

In the case of Caesar's the only 99%+ paying machines we could find you had to run either $25 or $50 through to get a point. This is also consistent with what vpfree shows. We scouted for others that would only require $10 per point but could not find any. Therefore it made a ton of sense to go next door to Bally's.

Obviously on the 10X thursday promo you should play wherever you want so long as its a CET property, but I never liked Ballys AC no matter what they had on the floor....Harrahs, Showboat, and (maybe) Caesars were always more appealing......and in showboats case, even with the 50 dollars a point for the good paytable VP games, on 10X thursday those games become at least playable for a little while.I do not know what you could have seen on your brief 2-1/2 day tour of AC while in Ballys, but either you experienced the biggest run of fluke-ish luck I've seen anyone have, or you are seeing things thru rose colored glasses.......all I know is when I was in Ballys the last several times since they plopped those new machines in, I saw NO ONE win a damn thing (including myself obviously)    More importantly, a couple friends I know who live in South Jersey who play there every week several times a week (i.e. wayyyy more than me) told me the new machines have been extremely stingy....they HAVE seen a few big hits, but  not at the rate you seem to think is regular. But you know what?  WHO CARES?   You like the place, you had fun, you got what you wanted, GREAT!    I tend to think differently, but I promise you, my next trip to AC I will check the place out again and see what's happening....
