DaBurglar I don't hate anyone, including you.

You were the one who so emphatically stated that Donald Trump was HATED by 64% of Americans, not me. I stand by my statement that many, if not most, are filled with half truths and you spin them to make yourself appear to know what you are talking about. Farming in Oklahoma is an example.

I just asked 10 people at random outside the Taco Bell in Springfield Massachusetts this question:"Do you HATE Donald Trump's Guts?"The results show that Tedlark was correct and my number of 64% Hatred rating was not entirely accurate.8 of the 10 people said "Si senor" , so its more like 80% of Americans Hate this a-number one horse's arse known as the "DONALD".         Well done Ted....and thanks for moving me to correct this flawed thinking on my part.

DaBurglar you have now offended Hispanics and earlier today you offended people over a certain age. Have you missed anyone?funny how I only ever hear from YOU on all this offense.....so, until or unless I get your online petition from the offended group of the month club, I will gleefully choose to not care about this latest attempt by you to stick a twig in my eye.And you are projecting once again ted......what I wrote is NONE of what you attempt to portray it as.......the truth is YOU are the offensive one.   Your sensitivity about race, sexual preference, age and whatever else can only be explained by your practiced ability to spew out invective to the groups you claim to be so concerned about.

I think Donald Trump only owns 10% of the organization. If I remember correctly. He wanted his name off those buildings.  I used to play at the TAJ when Donald had it. Since the bond holders took over, It has been going down hill since. When we played there in those " GOOD OLE DAYS " ,we were comped for everything. I remember we were at the TAJ  45 weeks in one year. For shows, boxing matches, and the parties in the ballroom. There was something always going on. OH BOY, Did we have a GOOD TIME.  a big smile and  a lot of laughs.Your right DB 64 % of the people probably don't know the whole story.
 Here's more to the story.  http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/busi ... 963f4.html

Thanks again Jim for the link to another PRESS of AC article (this newspaper, by the way, is pretty good and they cover ALL the dirt on AC and tell it like it is....)I found this quote particularly revealing:"Since Mr. Trump left Atlantic City many years ago, the license entities
have allowed the casino properties to fall into an utter state of
disrepair and have otherwise failed to operate and manage the casino
properties in accordance with the high standards of quality and luxury
required under the license agreement......"As I have been pointing out for the past 3-plus years, Atlantic City's BIGGEST (and tragically easiest to fix) problem is.......ATLANTIC CITY ITSELF!!!!!This is total BS for the major casinos (especially Trump) to claim that the "current economic conditions that have persisted since 2008" are the sole reason they are forced to close up shop, shut down and otherwise abandon AC.    It's a total crock of crap, and FAR too easy an excuse for these criminally overpaid executives to shirk their responsibilities for running a business correctly......The fact that competition now exists where, before 2007, it did not means first and foremost, you now have to actually WORK to survive, let alone thrive.    AND by Trump's clear statement above, and by simply examining and staying at the appalling conditions of the Trump Plaza and Taj MAhal,  their management and executives have TOTALLY been negligent!!I have several friends from Philadelphia who I still meet a few times a year at the RESORTS and neighboring Taj MAhal in AC.......we used to meet almost every month but over the last 2 years it has become less and less frequent......They tell me Philadelphia now has two casinos (and working on a third), but they also tell me that these two Philly casinos pretty much have lousy slots and VP paytables, and do not have much to offer in truly valuable comps or player benefits.    ALL they have to offer is CONVENIENCE.......and, in my friends' own words, if "only AC's casinos would make a few improvements and give us a reason to come back here, we would...."It is true, undeniable and obvious......the incompetent, negligent and horrible AC Casino management structure (in general) bears a HUGE portion of the blame for overall pitiful condition of AC's business health.    How could this happen, or be ALLOWED to happen?    Where was the New Jersey Gaming commission during all this time that Trump's casinos were falling into such neglect and disrepair???    It says it CLEARLY in the licensing agreements that there are certain standards and practices that must be upheld, and by Donald Trumps' own admission, this has not been the case!!!Ahhhhh, I am so frustrated....mostly due to the fact that, I am sure that if you put a management team together of even people LIKE US here on this forum, we could (and would) do a better job running any one of these casinos!    I am totally serious.......how on earth could we do worse than what they have done these last 7-8 years?????    Obviously, as Steve WYnn himself said (before he baile dout of AC completely and never returned)  that "AC has a SYSTEMIC problem with corruption and a political culture that makes it very hard to do business in that city ...."    Clearly, the city leadership, followed by the casino control commission and the Licensing agency/board, also bear some responsibility for this mess.   Why did they allow things to progress as they have....?    Maybe someone was paid to simply look the other way and allow places like the Trump Dumps, not to mention the old AC club/Hilton (R.I.P), to be run into the ground!?!?!?    Somebody, somewhere should be held responsible!!!!!

AKA Boardwalk Empire...I always wondered if the plane accident that killed Frank D'addario in March of 1986 was really an accident. Other executives have been killed in " accidents" as well. I knew Frank personally as well as his family. He had interests down in A/C as well as Jai Alai and 30 or 40 other businesses mainly construction.
