Gotta love it.

Step 1 - rob casino... Step 2 - buy Louis Vuitton.... Step 3 - call escort service... Step 4 - get a room.

And don't worry about the casino straps on the money - no one will notice.

it says he robbed with a "BB gun with one of those orange tips to alert everyone that it is not a real firearm"......and that this constitutes  a deadly weapon.....?   How does that happen inside one of the most secure casinos in the world?   was the entire security staff on a extended coffee break at precisely the time this lunatic implemented his masterplan?    The Bellagio security packs 9mm glocks last time I was there........ I mean.....C'MON!!!!!   Still, I think its safe to say this guy's court appointed attorney will be entering a plea of not guilty by reason of obvious mental defect.    Paying hookers with the money still wrapped in the bands of the place you stole it is such an obvious cry for help.....I think they should hire him to work the Bellagio in some sort of free spectacle-type show entertainment, since this whole episode screams slapstick.Or......maybe the guy is terminally ill and has 15 minutes to live or some sh*t......this has a bucket list feel to it too.

Wow Bill I read the article and watched the story online. There is updated information and the man who did this robbery is also suspected now of involvement in at least one bank robbery.    Maybe bank robbery is on his bucket list too?

An article after the December, 2010 heist at the same Bellagio, where the "Motorcycle Helmet Bandit" stole about $1.5M in chips from a crap table...

"big Las Vegas casinos tell their unarmed security staff to stand aside and simply collect information for police, such as surveillance video. The so-called “observe and report” policy prevents potential gunfights in casinos, said Bill Zender, a former Nevada regulator and casino executive who now serves as a security consultant in Las Vegas."

well blow my nose!    So now they are indeed UNARMED?????See, the last time I was at the Bellagio was 2006 or thereabouts.......but that surprises me now!    When did this change?I remember the Downtown casinos in the late 1990s and into 2000 all had armed security, including the Golden Nugget.Surely some other people must remember this?   seriously, when did Nevada casinos stop arming their security???Anyhow, I guess this explains, then, how someone gets away with this crap with a "bb" gun.....But I dunno......"prevents gunfights?"    Well ok yeah obviously if one side is armed and the other is NOT, then there will never be a gunfight, but it seems then that this might have the effect of emboldening certain types to try this stuff, knowing everyone is just going to stand around and watch and call the cops.I think someone watched too much "3000 Miles to Graceland"  and not enough Oceans 11 thru 27 or whatever the fark it was......

DaBurglar weren't you in Las Vegas last year? Are you sure that you saw 9mm Glocks worn by Bellagio security? Maybe .45 cal or even 10mm? Could you have mistaken them for  FNP or maybe Taurus? Glock is kinda pricey but there are some departments that issue them as standard. I prefer either of my Sig's, or my 92FS over Glock but if I'm looking for single cartridge stopping power then I'll grab my 1911 anyday.

I was briefly in Vegas but I did not make it to the Bellagio that time......Maybe they were not glocks, but definitely a 9mm firearm......the golden nugget security used to have such weapons under those blazers they all wore back  in 1998-1999......The old Horseshoe Casino security ("benny Binion's bullies") used to have .357 magnum revolvers until they got closed down in 2003, right before harrahs purchased the place.Totally does not surprise me that you own so many firearms ted, that is so you

Yea kind of a liberal jab with no reason there but he does strike me as one of those cry for help kind of people not someone that understands that law enforcement is not seconds away and can only do so much.
