Not Trump in LV, but "The Donald" started a development here in Tampa several years ago. A lot of hype, inflated prices on condo units, and then he pulls out. It never got built.

[/QUOTE]Yes!  Thanks for pointing this out Billyjoe, I knew there were several different locations in different states that he totally jilted, Arizona being the one I am most familiar with.....it was not just a simple case of the Trump(s) bailing out of a planned development....in the Arizona deal(s), as I recall, a LOT of people lost a LOT of money when the deals went south just before, during and After the recession.   I will try and garner more specifics, but if anyone else out there remembers this whole sh*tty deal, please chime in!Here is what you need to know (and remember) about Donald Trump....HE WAS BORN FILTHY RICH.  His father before him made a fortune which he got to "play" with as soon as he graduated from College.   Given what he started with, and location and the time(s) during which he lived and invested (70s and 80s New York City and surrounding areas) and the help and resources he had access to, it is little wonder he was a billionaire by 1988...and then he promptly LOST it and was forced into Bankruptcy during the recession of 1990.   The guy is a total windbag, the ultimate talker and bully who tries to simply force his way (and will) upon whomever happens to be in his way at the time.   All you really need to do is just ....L I S T E N...to this guy to get the sense of what he is all about, which is HIMSELF.   He sucks as a businessman, and if you OBJECTIVELY evaluate his ENTIRE career from the moment he finished college to the present, you just shrug and go "meh?"   This guy singlehandedly destroyed the USFL (remember that?) during the mid-late 1980s.....that professional football league actually had REAL potential when it first started out, and its first season was considered a real SUCCESS (before Trump showed up and ruined everything!)  I do not want to rehash that whole story, but I encourage anyone with the interest to research the old USFL and in particular Trump's involvement!But all that aside....at least Donald Trump is now calling out the existing Trump Casino Ownership who have totally allowed the casino properties that still bear his name (Taj and Plaza) to COMPLETELY fall apart.   I mean these two properties have not had so much as a new coat of paint since 2008-2009!   Awful, dirty, smelly, broken down wrecks is what you now see......the Taj keeps chugging along only because it USED to be the standard for AC until Borgata started cooking, and since then the Taj is simply running on the past.....as for the Plaza, they gave up on that property in 2011 when they cancelled ALL bus service to and from the Plaza, which was a travesty since it is located RIGHT OFF THE AC EXPRESSWAY, the first (and easiest to access) of all casinos for anyone driving to AC.   Not to mention it is centrally located on the Boardwalk.....it occupies just about the PRIME-est spot of real estate in AC......Total joke they cannot make that work at least enough to survive.

Ah right, I am not boring, but you find me......boring.   You are an idiot beyond reckoning....you cant even make sense to yourself.1)  You NEVER ever give a straight answer to anything I ask or write, you frequently latch on to some irrelevant tangent or plop some non sequitur into your reply, usually when the topic goes so far over your head you have no other choice, because it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to not write or reply anything, you ALWAYS have to write or say something even if it is total gibberish or baloney.2)  Ask a clear, intelligent (and sincere) question and maybe I will answer.   I do not see anything like that here.
