800 for 1 paytables still holding

Back earlier today from another Mohegan Sun marathon. Good trip this time. The main reason for the post however, is to report that the new IGT machines in the old poker room near the 3 marble stairs are still paying the correct amount for the Royal for only 5 cents bet. Best I can tell, this is limited to the spin poker games, but there are many varieties in there. Paytables are bad, but I have seen worse. For example the Deuces Wild game is 25/16/13/4/3/2/1. which I think is in the 96% range. For those who prefer a single line game, there is nothing to say you can't just play the center line for a nickel and up.
     I got lucky on the lone nickel Multi-Strike game and on the lone 3 cent spin poker game. On the first one, I caught 5 of a kind on the top line and some Wild Royals on the 3rd line. Some at the nickel level and some at the quarter level. On the 3 cent spin game, I caught deuces quads on 4 lines and another time caught deuces quads with the Ace. I also caught 5 Aces on nearly all of the lines. I was varying my bets from 3 cents, to 5 to 10 and even 20 cents per line which is the max. I think the biggest win was around 16,000 nickels. No hads pays, but everything added up pretty well. I blew about half on the quarter Double Down Stud game before quitting, but a fun day overall. Forgot to mention the Multi-Strike game was Double Bonus Deuces Wild and the Spin game was Bonus Deuces Wild.

Spin poker offers 3c credits? That's a new one to me. Although it's way better that they give 800 for 1 on any credits, you can always max bet one line on spin poker and STP.

Hi Vman. Yes, and unfortunately, there is only one machine left with a 3 cent menu. That is not the one with the 800 for one though, but I have had more hand pays on this machine than any other. You can bet 3, 5, 10, or 20 cents per line up to 20 lines. The 800 for one machines are the new IGT ones starting at the nickel level. There are about 6 of them at Mohegan all in the same row.
