Double Super Times Pay
I noticed and tried this game at the nickel level for a few minutes at Mohegan Sun. It is in the menu on the new IGT machines. I played DDB and the paytable was only 7/5. Even with the multiplier the return is only around 96.2%. However, the lady playing next to me put in a 20 and cashed out nearly 300-. She caught quads on DDB with both multipliers a couple of times. Does anyone have this game where they play? Just curious. Seemed to be fun except when you get a good multiplier and don't even get any cards to hold.

Here you go. <------ You'll also find it on All Star Poker 2 machines if you search for those.

Yeah, with nearly every All Star II machine having it, it's nearly at every CET property now.
I can't explain why (because the variance is sky high, which I typically don't like), but this is favorite VP game. STP and eventually Double STP got me back into VP again.
I've played the game enough to see this twice for godsakes (I'm running way hot on seeing it twice though).
I tend to only play it "on the road" now though because my two closest casinos offer bad paytables for nickels too. 95.96% DW44 (96.45% w/DSTP) is their best game followed by 7/5 DDB. But my biggest nickel hit came on one of those crap machines.
I played a decent amount of it in Indiana this weekend at Horseshoe Hammond and Blue Chip. Believe it or not, Horseshoe UPGRADED this game on their All Star Poker IIs in the high limit room (dollar games) in the last few months to the maximum allowable paytable for each variant in Indiana. So "full pay" 8/5 Bonus and 9/6 DDB (99.67% and 99.48%, respectively). And 98.91% Deuces (99.41% w/DSTP) and trailing the pack, 9/5 JoB (98.95%). Offering NSUD (best game IGT allows) or 9/6 JoB would be illegal in Indiana for this game (100.23% and 100.05%, respectively). 8/5 Bonus is the best Double STP game I've seen so far in an actual casino. I've also seen it at South Point.
Here are the places where I have played the game if I can remember them all...lol
Missouri:
Ameristar St. Charles
Hollywood St. Louis
River City
Lumiere Place
Harrah's NKC
Ameristar KC
Isle of Capri Cape Girardeau
Illinois/Indiana/Michigan:
Harrah's Joliet
Hollywood Joliet
Ameristar East Chicago
Horseshoe Hammond
Blue Chip
Four Winds
Tunica:
Harrah's (RIP)
Gold Strike
Tunica Roadhouse
Hollywood Tunica
Las Vegas:
Margaritaville at Flamingo
Treasure Island
Mirage
Cosmopolitan
Aria
MGM Grand
South Point

Now I know why I liked it even with the crappy table.
Thanks also Webman. Played a little on the site yesterday for practice. Unfortunately, with those 95 and 96 paytables, practice doesn't make perfect. Like anything, you have to get lucky. I'll use this game for some fun down time with a 10 or 20 and hope to get lucky. Yeah, I saw the 10/8/4/4 Deuces table in the machine at Mohegan. I refuse to play that one, but for some reason I like the 25/16/13/4/3/2 paytable which is almost as bad. I think I like that one because I hate to try for full houses on Deuces Wild and there are no wild cards showing. Vman if you can beam yourself up here you can play at Mohegan for now with the 800 for 1 with one coin in. Heading up there again today. Hope they haven't yanked that option yet.

As of last night the 800 for 1 is still there. Plus the All Star machine to the left of the new IGT's has 800-1 also on spin poker but it's a .25 game only.

Good to know thanks. I hadn't even thought to check that one. If you see a guy in his mid 60's with a round face and hardly any hair playing late at night just say are you Olds.

I like this game, especially with Deuces Wild. It's only available in quarters around here, so it does cost a lot more to play. As you know, I'm a cheapskate so I don't get to play it much.

I don't think these machines were in yet Phil when you folks were up here. They are in a section of the casino called Mike which is in the earth casino. I don't think you and the Mrs. got up there. If you don't mind the junky paytables, and get back up here, you can play it all you want for nickels. It is only available on spin poker and they offer a tripple spin poker nickel game with Deuces as well that as of today is still paying 800 for the Royal for 1 coin bet. By the way, 1st week in Oct. is really beautiful up here with all the color.

Just back earlier today from a nice overnight at Mohegan with the Mrs. before she has to head back to the classroom next week. She played on the Multi-Streak side of the bank of machines and I played on the other side with DSTP. In 5 minutes she caught quad 4s with the Ace for 10k nickels. She was smart and retired early to read and rest. I on the other hand, got clobbered and couldn't buy a deuce on the DSTP or Tripple play Spin Poker Deuces Wild game. I switched over to Multi-Strike DBDW in another area of that section and luckily caught Deuces Quads on line 2 with 10 nickels in so that was good for 4,000 Nickels and a partial bailout from the above disaster. Packed it in very late and gave my favorite quarter Double Down Stud DW game a shot before leaving late AM. Only had an hour, but pulled a Wild Royal to make my bailout pretty close to making me even. As usual, the Mrs. with her good discipline was the smarter on this trip.

What multiplier/variant gives her 10k nickels with quad 4s + Ace exactly? TDB with 5X on multi-streak poker? That's not an easy hit!
At least the both of you sounded net ahead!
