Borgata Comp Dollars?

Post by thegreatone24 »

Does anyone know how much you have to cycle in at Borgata to earn a Comp Dollar and also Slot Dollar? I checked vpfree2.com its says $500-1 was wondering if anyone has done the math recently. Reason for asking I was there back in July and didn't play that much and earned $6 Comp dollars plus there was no promotions going on. I was only playing $1.25 a hand so that would have been 2400 hands and there is no way I played that many hands. Not complaining will be taking up their Water Club room offer for two nights comped.

Sounds nice. Have a great trip. I have no idea how their comp system works, but it would be good to know.

Their website doesn't show what coin-in is required to earn rewards. This is all it describes on the program.

What are Comp Dollars?
Comp Dollars are equal to one regular dollar, and you can spend it (like a regular dollar) on food, rooms, bars, spa and entertainment at Borgata. Comp dollars can also be used at our retail shops where two comp dollars equal one regular dollar. At Borgata, you choose when, where, and how to spend Comp Dollars you've earned.
• How do I earn Comp Dollars?
By playing slots, table games, keno, or poker while using your My Borgata Card.
• When can I use them?
Up to 180 days after earning them.
• Where can I use them?
At our restaurants, bars, hotel, spa, salon, barbershop and entertainment. Comp Dollars can also be used at The Cafeteria, retail shops, salon, and barbershop where two comp dollars equal one regular dollar. Comp dollars cannot be used on shopborgata.com.
• How do I use them?
Just show your My Borgata card at any of the locations listed above.

What are SLOT DOLLARS®?
They're free slot play and the more you play the more you can earn. Get them right at your favorite slot machine.
•How do I earn SLOT DOLLARS® rewards?
By playing slots, while using your My Borgata Card.
• When can I use them?
SLOT DOLLARS® rewards Dollars earned today can be used on your next trip. They're valid for 90 days.
• Where can I use them?
On your favorite slot machine.
• How do I use them?
Insert your My Borgata card into any slot machine, press "SLOT DOLLARS®" and follow the menu prompts.

Very nice offer indeed. Wonder if I can talk them into accepting my Mohegan Sun card. Not that I could go right now anyway. . Sounds like a plan though Billy. Good luck. Maybe you will run into DB while down there.

We did this on our last trip to AC. Was nice to get the free play and enjoyed the complimentary visit to the Emphora Lounge. Maybe it was just me but I like the boardwalk better. I kept hearing people go on and on about Borgata this and Borgata that. I still prefer staying at Caesar's.

And I prefer both the Caesar's Diamond Lounge and their 7 Star Lounge. I look forward to hearing what you think when you get back from your trip.

Black Label? Billyjoe I thought you were a Maker's Mark guy? Mabel...Black Label...Carling Black Label Beer....Seriously Ted and Billy, there was a Maker's Mark Black Label issued mainly in the Far East. You can still get it, but I think Billy might have to hit a couple of jackpots to buy it. Did I know this....Noooo. Something rang a bell though and I learned the above after looking it up with a few key words. The old black label beer commercial is still on youtube. Mabel was a blonde doll.

I don't know exactly how many coin thru you need to make a comp dollar. When I play 25¢ VP it takes me about 1hr and 45 minutes to make $5. If I'm playing 50¢ it takes me about 1 hour. Borgata has a rule that you must earn $5 comp before it displayed on your account. Your slot dollars is about half of your comp dollars. Since you made 6 comp dollars your slot dollars is 3. BUT, you have to make 5 slot dollars to get anythings, So if you make 10 comp dollars you would see on your account 10 comp dollars & 5 slot dollars.(  does that make sence. I hope I explain it enough) IMO the Borgata has the best players lounge ( The Amphoria Lounge ) in AC. May I ask which 2 nights you will be there.
