Ohio Casinos and Racinos
For all you Ohio residents that play locally, heard on the news that if you hit for over a grand on anything your winnings will be subject to those who owe back child support or back taxes. I didn't catch whole story, but it sounds as if you are a deadbeat parent or haven't paid your state taxes, better go to MI or PA, WV to gamble. They made it sound as if they could confiscate your winnings right there and then, who knows?

They are doing it on the spot in Toledo. I had a hand pay last week, and the attendant told me they were using a new procedure to check for deadbeats before the casino would pay off . I asked if they had caught anyone yet and she said that in fact they had earlier the same day I hit. The guy was immediately garnished and only got a hundred bucks and was not a happy camper...lol....

I think its great. But I am a little older. The way society is now, people can get away with stuff like this for years by just saying they forgot about it. God help the children these people choose to neglect.
