I think they found a way to make money. Agree for a sale, drag it out past the deadline and keep the deposit, lol.

I am officially through with Atlantic city.......I've posted before about cutting back (and I have) on trips to AC in favor of other places like VEGAS and also, looking closer to home, giving another chance to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods down across the MAssachusetts/Connecticut border (I live about 75 minutes from both properties )....I am also awaiting information from Twin Rivers, and Turning Stone!  I have never been to either but I would love to perhaps visit both this summer, since I also love Upstate New York  and Rhode Island in and of themselves.AC is really in a sorry state and seems as though it is still going to get worse, and there really is no foreseeable improvement at all in the near (and beyond) future!    it is really SAD....I am still in a state of disbelief that it has sunk THIS low and is STILL plummeting! When I first visited AC in February 2009, it was STILL a nice happening place, with the casinos (all 11 of them PRIOR to Revel) still maintaining a "buzz" and a vibrant feel even though the city was 2-plus years into its death spiral.......things at that point were STILL salvageable!!!I LOVED going to AC from 02/09  thru the end of 2011...it really was a nice place, and even though the casinos were in the process of totally wrecking themselves,  since the place still had an "Air' of newness for me, I enjoyed it, right up until starting in mid 2012 and going forward when I began losing at a ridiculous rate......and the casinos, in response to Revel's opening in May 2012 began to CUT slash and burn everything they could to conserve what money was trickling in.......Revel totally killed the last vestiges of life and hope for the rest of the AC casino market and pushed it over the edge.....and now the carcass of REVEL is KEEPING/Preventing AC from having even a tiny recovery, since this perpetual travesty of a deal/no-deal merry go round keeps a spirit and atmosphere of failure going in AC.Only Borgata continues to chug along, but even they know that IF the remaining casinos in AC really start to die again, it eventually will impact them because they too rely on the summer crowds and masses of vacationers, which will disappear even further if there is no recovery on the boardwalk.I have ONE last goodbye trip to AC now booked for the first week in March ("Mother Nature" willing) and then after that, I am done with AC for a long long time.......I really will miss GAllaghers steak house and their awesome burgers!

Keep me posted on the Ct. trips. If we ever bail out of this winter that is. If Ted can make it too, let me know so I can pick up the Robot Boxing game at Walmart ahead of time.

February 25-27 I will be at foxwoods (weather permitting) with my brother......the plan is to arrive at foxwoods & check in around 7pm on Wednesday the 25th, so perhaps you could meet up with me sometime on February 26????   We'll be leaving after breakfast on the 27th....It would be great to finally meet up with you.....
