Someone told me about Bovada and so I checked it out. Using only their "practice" games and not their "for money" games, and giving them the benefit of the doubt by playing a massive number of hands off and on in 9 non-consecutive days, I reached the conclusion that their RNG is jiggered. There is no other way to explain my dismal results. All of my sessions were losers, and they were not just slight losers. I never once received a quad in 9 lengthy sessions, not a single premium hand, nothing. I had a scattering of full houses and plenty of treys, but that was it. And before someone tells me I had bad luck, no, impossible to play as many hands as I did and have results like that over such a length of time.

You do realize bovada would be stupid to rig play money games against you, right?
I actually, having thought about this more, do not think that Bovada  "RIGS" their Video Poker (or other casino games.)  I think they LEGITIMATELY set their games to return AWFUL AWFUL payback percentages simply because they are allowed to under current internet regulations, which is to say there ARE NO Binding regulations that state a gaming website such as Bovada MUST return a minimum of such-and-such percentage, etc.Do you all see what I am saying?   It is kind of like what I used to try and argue about AC and their ridiculously worded gaming regs, which ultimately I had to conced to V-man's way of thinking that AC's regs DO NOT flat out allow a casino to set their VP games just like they would a slot machine, even though I kept receiving "slottified"  or slot-like Video Poker results! My play on Bovada's casino (and poker gmaes),  plus what several friends and relatives I know who also play on Bovada have received,  PLUS what many other people on different websites are saying about Bovada, have me convinced NOW that their site is NOT what I expect (or WANT) in terms of a internet gambling experience.   I have written Bovada and asked them to explain how their results in Video Poker (and other games) are so outside the norm in terms of what typical casinos offer, and they always reply with some spiel about their games are "certified" by some agency I never heard of based in some Sovereign Island in the Carribean that used to be home to Blue beard the pirate !  (or was it Blackbeard....?  maybe Redbeard???   I dunno, just that it was some pirate with facial hair from early 18th century before the British navy seized enough carribean islands from the declining spanis empire to curtail pirate activities....I digress)In other words kids, I now know that we gamble on such sites as Bovada at our own risk.....hence it makes much more sense to limit our internet gambling to ONLY the real New Jersey (and Vegas when they show up) casino websites because at least we know it is regulated and legit and fair (hopefully).      But calling Bovada "rigged" at this point is pointless.......I think it is just INTENTIONALLY  heavily stacked against the player having ANY chance other than  a  snowball's chance to win something significant.Sidenote:  Hey Vman....any chance you and the girlfriend will EVER visit Atlantic City before it completely disappears?????

Vman is right. Wouldn't Bovada want to rig the play games to be big winners, to get you to deposit your real $ ?

Internet gaming for money? Hell - I don't even trust THIS internet website.

Give me the good, old-fashioned casino, where if I have REALLY bad luck, I can at least go find someone with the casino to beat the crap out of.

DaBurglar we all see what you are trying to say: you got parted with $390.00 cash money by a gaming website out of Latvia because you erroneously thought they were on the up and up.   Gigglesnort...

Um maybe. But the problem is from where we're at AC is probably just as expensive as vegas and given everything I've read about AC on forums, it's not like I'm being enticed to go.

Re: bovada

Yeah I really have not read the regulations they have set forth for their games (if they have any to read), so assuming a random, equally probable deck might be risky. However, this is the one website that the Wizard of Odds recommended for years. And I can GUARANTEE you he only would have if he believed that the video poker was dealt from a random, equally probable deck.

I have no opinion on Mr. Shackleford.

So if Phil Helmuth is "The Poker Brat" does that mean you're "The Poker Knat"?

That should work. I hope you have a baseball bat, a Caddy with a big trunk ( no not golf caddy ) ,some chains and a big bucket of cement. If I still had my 66 Coupe Deville, that would do just fine.
