We are there right now. All video poker machines appear to be up and running. VPFREE shows some full pay deuces wild at the dollar level that I was going to play. They were supposed to be by the poker room but I never could find them. The best machines I could find were just inside the high limit room. They were 3/5/10 play dollar machines. They had full pay deuces and JOB and 9/6 ddb. Won a little on them but nothing worthy of taking a picture. Most of the machines unfortunately had less than ideal paytables.

The $1 NSUD 3/5 play is definitely there in the "high limit" area near the tunnel entrance to the hotel. That's the game to play.
Those were the machines that I played just inside the high limit room. Best I was able to hit was a couple of royals with deuces but in between not much else.

Mainly played on 3/5/10 play quarters in front of Besh Steakhouse. Also played some Winning Streak Poker for the first time. Its similar to Multi Strike. You get to keep playing as long as you keep winning and your winning hands keep getting pushed up until you reach a 10 times multiplier. You won't see it on this website as it is not an IGT game.

Full Pay Deuces Wild (100.76% > 100%) is illegal in Louisiana, so I think you meant "Not So Ugly Ducks" (99.73%). And remember that means holding two pair and 4 to flushes over pairs with no deuces in that game.    Good luck!
You are correct Vman. To me they were full pay deuces as they were the best deuces pay tables I have had the pleasure to find in some time. We only play at CET casinos. If anyone knows any other CET casinos that have these type of deuces pay tables let me know.

Hammond does at the $2 3-play level Of course the 3-play machine is $50/point.

And I thought that Hammond still had "Almost Perfect Deuces Wild" (99.96%) for $5, but VPFree says they got rid of those machines a few months ago. I never noticed. Doh. I'll have to double check next trip.

After that it's only 98.91% at many CET casinos plus STP in Joliet at least.

We are going to be on the one leaving 12/7. Have a great time. Let me know what you think when you get back. Did you get your free luggage yet?

chattycattty,
Enjoyed the NOLA story and best wishes on the VP.   BTW: The Lake Charles Golden Nugget should be opening soon. It will give us another option.

Does anyone have a Harrahs New Orleans host that they would recommend? How much daily coin-in do you play and how good are the comps? Thanks

Does anyone have a Harrahs New Orleans host that they would recommend? How much daily coin-in do you play and how good are the comps? ThanksSorry for not being timely with this, but I've been inactive for some time and just checked in here out of curiosity.I personally book into Harrah's NOLA through an outside host affiliated with Caesars Nat'l Casino Mktg (NCM).  However, over the last few months I've become acquainted with an in-house host at NOLA who has made a very strong, favorable impression. His name is Gabrielle Estilette.   I'm a very strong 7* player.  I largely rely upon earned comps and monthly offer food coupons, however, Gabriel has indicated that he has the discretion to issue "off-account" comps.Gabrielle is extraordinarily approachable and friendly.  I'd encourage any Diamond/7* player looking for host support at NOLA and who earns a minimum of 1000 tier credits in days play (excl bonus credits) to touch base with Gabrielle and inquire if he can be of assistance.  (FWIW, my own daily tier earning typically ranges 5000-10000 tier points, excl bonus -- but don't let that dissuade anyone from making contact with Gabrielle)Contact info:Gabriel Estilette | Senior Executive Host

Thanks for your input HDP. From one 7 star player to another most of our hosts are not very good. Our host we had at NOLA recently retired and the one we have now is not very good at all. Our last trip to NOLA was the first part of December to spend the night before our 7 star event cruise.

Even though we played quite a bit, 2500 TC before bonus, she never stopped by once. We made it known that we were there and before we left even left her a small gift. To date we have still not heard back from her. I don't care if all we gave her was a box of cracker jacks and a thank you card the least she could do is make contact and say thank you.

2015 is going to be an interesting year for CET players as they navigate through BK. We play all over the country exclusively at CET properties and even though we have reached 7 star status each of the past 4 years it seems every year the quality of service we get from their hosts gets worse and worse. IMO CET is more interested in player development than they are in taking care of the players they already have.
