i am lowly diamond member, but read something that might interest seven stars. on another foum, lot of discussion about CET not allowing hosts to do as much in 2015 as in the past. they identified NO specifically, as their hosts apparantly had more leeway. this could be a result of CET financial poblems and needing to do something to stem the red ink.there was also mention about earning additional bonus credits for the first 3 months of this year. i know no details.

For the last several years CET has gradually diminished the extra discretionary stuff they do for us. I think in our case we have leveled off. We make sure to get 7 star each year to reap the benefits and they would prefer us to continue to accelerate our play. As a result in their business model they consider us to be overcomped.

The additional bonus program is really a great deal if you are planning on giving a significant amount of your play to CET. For the first three months for every tier credit you earn, including bonus tc's, CET will give you 50% more tc's to be added to your account on April 15th. Unless they change the thresholds to reach diamond or 7 star it currently takes 15,000 tc's to reach diamond or 150,000 tc's to reach 7 star.

The max you can get added is 25,000 tc's. We should easily get 50,000 tc's in the first quarter so with the extra 25,000 tc's that will put us at 75,000 or more so it will make it much easier to reach 7 star this year. Same thing for those that want to reach diamond reward card level.

[QUOTE=joechgo]Does anyone have a Harrahs New Orleans host that they would recommend? How much daily coin-in do you play and how good are the comps? ThanksSorry for not being timely with this, but I've been inactive for some time and just checked in here out of curiosity.I personally book into Harrah's NOLA through an outside host affiliated with Caesars Nat'l Casino Mktg (NCM).  However, over the last few months I've become acquainted with an in-house host at NOLA who has made a very strong, favorable impression. His name is Gabrielle Estilette.   I'm a very strong 7* player.  I largely rely upon earned comps and monthly offer food coupons, however, Gabriel has indicated that he has the discretion to issue "off-account" comps.Gabrielle is extraordinarily approachable and friendly.  I'd encourage any Diamond/7* player looking for host support at NOLA and who earns a minimum of 1000 tier credits in days play (excl bonus credits) to touch base with Gabrielle and inquire if he can be of assistance.  (FWIW, my own daily tier earning typically ranges 5000-10000 tier points, excl bonus -- but don't let that dissuade anyone from making contact with Gabrielle)Contact info:Gabriel Estilette | Senior Executive Host

I saw a recent post on the VPFree yahoo forums where a young adult flies into New Orleans twice a month and plays 10 line $1 NSUD to build tier credits. What an intelligent way to build status.

I saw that too. It also said he plays 2 machines at the same time, and as 1 poster put it at "Idiot savant" speed.

I am pretty sure I have seen him play there before. When I saw him he was playing 2 $1 single game progressives at the same time. When I saw him he was playing ddb if I remember correctly. He couldn't have been over 25 and played faster than anyone I've ever seen before.

Dancer has spoken with regards to this player.

1. Machines are spaced farther apart to be impossible to play 2 machines at once
2. People who play the 10 play are no-mailed, highly doubtful that an out of towner will have airfare covered
3. A fast player like Dancer coined in 20k an hour, for 5 million coin in a month, the player will have to play 50 hours at 50k hour for the two trips. No small task
4. Would 5 million coin in per month without any comps be worth while?

The original thread that brought up this issue referred to a machine at the Gold Coast (Las Vegas) High Limit room set for 10/6 DDB and 10/7 DB at $5 denomination 3-play ($75 a hand). VPfree still lists them, wondering if someone is hammering them.

If you're no-mailed for the 99.73 multiline in NO, is that just for that casino, or is the 'no offers for this player' status a national thing? I was hoping to earn a decent chunk of 7* status on those machines, but don't want to start my relationship with CET in time out.

Relatedly, are there still reports of people being no mailed for 9/6 JoB? I can't really tell if that was a short term experiment or if it's still happening.

I am sure you will get the Tier Credits to build the 50,000 you need for an 7star experience point, but all it means is that you will not get offers from that specific hotel. Each 7star experience probably puts other casino comp system to shame if you could get that far.

I just pasted what Dancer had to say about this guy.

[QUOTE]
I, for one, am not buying what was reputed to have happened in NOLA.

For a lot of reasons it doesn't sound to me like Frank Kneeland. I'm not going to go into details, but I know him better than most of you do.

Last time I played at that casino (November 2014), I believe the Ten Play machines were spaced out every other machine. It was virtually impossible to play two Ten Play machines at once

When I played those machines I could get around $20K per hour through. Let's say this speed demon played $50K per hour. It would take 50 hours to play the reported $2,500,000 per trip --- and he's supposed to make two of these trips per month. Really?

Also, in NOLA, many players who primarily play the NSU Ten Play machines get no-mailed. It seems really unlikely to me that they'd make a special offer (including out-of-town airfare and plenty of cash to make up for the less-than-100% shortfall in play $5 million a month) for a player to play these machines extensively.

I suspect parts of story are approximately true. But in totality, there appears to me to be many things that aren't believable.

Aplax, Jean Scott and another poster on vpfree had this to say after Bob posted that. I pasted what they had to say

"In the high limit area at NOLA there are six machines next to each other that have 3/5/10 play with NSU on each of them. I have seen the young man play 2-10 play NSU games at the same time at lightening speed for many, many hours. I saw him in Dec. and in Jan. 2015 at NOLA. On one occasion he had started at 6:00 a.m. and was still going strong at 4:00 p.m."

and Jean added this

"Some previous comments were not correct – old information. I have seen this same person. It is not Frank Kneeland. I know his name, but I am not going to post it. Doesn’t pay to jump to conclusions."
