I forgot to include that most casinos required added (2X, 3X) VP Coin-in to gain the same point earned from regular slots. Most of our nearby casino require 2:1 to gain the same point as a slot.

That seems to be consistent with most places, at least the places I go is $2 VP coin in per point (or $5 coin in per point for the best paying games) whereas the slots are $1 coin in per point, as least for the club points and cash back. I did not know they take that in considerations with comps/bounceback too. So it could VP could be 4 or 6 times lesser the bounceback that slots.
Most likely I have been playing much less overnight stays and the casinos might be cutting back during different seasons like Vman stated. Either way it helps to take the first step and ask questions to a casino host as well as building a long term rapport to find out all the details.
I recall on a long thread posted by olds where a buddy played the same amount of coin-in on slot machines based on the win/loss records, but got 10 folds the comps.
