Indian casino robbery

Post by gr8bowlr »

Did any of you hear about the robbery at Soboba Casino last week.  The robbers got almost $2 million, but only caught 2 of the 3 involved.  Took some balls to pull that off, but I have noticed in the indian places here in calif. most of the security is not armed.  It took the county sheriff 5 minutes to get there when the alarm was sounded.  The things that make ya go HMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Played several indian casinos here in Southern California. Have had marginal to good luck in most. Not a big spender so a little bit went a long ways each visit. So far,Soboba Casino has had the best player rewards club.Good luck!

Will be in Temecula California in April and where I am staying is right near Pechanga Casino. Anyone know of it. It is a hotel also, correct? Any luck there for anyone.

Valerie, I've had marginal luck at best. Pechanga is touted as one of Ca's finest resorts but I think that honor should go to Barona Valley Ranch. VP at Pechanga is weak. Last visit, I saw 20 MG/MD! Barona has several as does Pala casino. There will be several choices for you being in Temecula. Of course you should check VPFREE listings prior to your departure. Good luck. Also look under the find-a-game option at the bottom of the page.

Ginny, I wish you luck. I've only had marginal luck there as well. I've had good luck up the road at Cahuilla Creek though!

Ditto what EDC1977 said.  Pechanga has the weakest selection of Vp in the area.  Seems this tribe feeds on suckers that like the slots and they have plenty.  Don't ask about my luck there because it is non existant and I had been going there since it was a tent!

If you  have a mode of transportation then you are in luck.  I am not sure what the road is named that Pechanga is on but if you take a right out of the parking lot and drive about 5 miles you will dead end at a T intersection with a stop sign. Take another right here and in less than a mile you will end up at Pala casino.  Even though I have not had much luck there either, the VP is plentful enough to find a machine at any time of the day.  Pala is located on highway 79.  Further down this highway(a right turn out of Pala parking lot) there are 3 more casinos within approx. 10 miles.  The names of these casinos are Casino Pauma, Harrah's and Valley View.

This should keep you busy.
Good luck...
