What is your favorite casino in Vegas OFF the Strip?

I like the Orleans.  Great Host, great selection of single line VP.  I am on my way there this weekend and can't wait.  My last trip to LV was in July so I am ready to relax, and play some great VP.

  Red Rock for me too; does South Point count as being off the strip? South Point would be second and Sam's Town follows up in third.

For me, it is the M Resort.

Though their VP games are not the best they do have 9/6 DDB and 8/5 Bonus Poker with ACE$ bonus. The restaurants and the ambiance are great (recently built).

Also they got very good cashback for their players reward card at 0.3%, with good amount of 7x points days for slots and 2x for vp.

A $2000 coin in gets you a free comp (without using your cashback) at their $40 seafood Studio B buffet.

I do not frequent Vegas as often though

All this is still being offered even after the conversion to Marquee Rewards? Which they have totally bungled up, btw.

But they do have dollar 9/6 DDB and 98.91% Deuces at 50c at a bar that has 90 beers on tap, so I have to give them credit for that.

Orleans is very nice, and remains one of the favorties of the locals so its a great place to go and meet and talk with people who actually live in the Vegas area.....over the years I have made a few good friends with locals and this comes in handy if you are ever in trouble due to cancelled reservations or lost tickets or (god forbid) lost wallet or even a health catastrophe....just having some local people available is a nice insurance policy!  But, other favorite places for me include Downtown Vegas/Fremont Street....I dont know about all of you, but at this point, I pretty much consider the entire Downtown area ONE BIG CASINO in and of itself......it really truly is when you get down to it.....and I include not just the casinos ON fremont street under the light frame canopy, but also the Plaza )obviously), and Mainstreet Station and California.....and whatever that place is that occupies the old Lady Luck.....within that panoply of casinos I try to stay as much as I can at Golden Nugget (which truly is as nice and classy and upscale as most of the strip places.)   I also like the Four Queens due to its history, and if you can get at least one night at the old golden gate, its worth it just for the sheer throwback in time you experience (but again, ONLY for 1 night! lol)I see Vegas in 3 "zones":   The Strip, Off-strip, and Downtown.        My order of preference is a toss-up between Off-strip properties like Orleans and Downtown Hotels........I choose Strip places LAST due to the overwhelming congestion and number of businesses now clogging the main parts......But if I have to stay on the strip, I choose the oldie but still goodie Mirage.......I'll take Riviera second.      Anything built after 2001 I avoid, for whatever reason.    I've never stayed or played at places like Cosmo  or Aria  or M......when it comes to Vegas, for me older is better.
