Post by doris13 »

got back from vegas this morning and excellent results.once again triple poker at the quad was the best.on my way out,i decided to try 1 more machine and was dealt aces/k playing tdb for $3000.i don't have a picture but if a certain person here doesn't believe me again i do have the w2g that i can take a picture of and post.hit aces/k at ballys, mgm and bellagio and at least 5 4oak/k at assorted casinos.do not play vp at cromwell;the payouts i found were either 6/5 or 7/5.can't wait to plan another trip!

Well I guess you had an o.k. trip, huh doris? Just teasing, congrats on your wins. Pictures would make it easier for us to be there with you on your wins but I guess visualizing in our minds will have to do.

Nice hits! Now buy a smartphone so we can see the pics next time...lol

6/5 or 7/5 at cromwell for what, DDB/TDB? In September, it was 8/5 for DDB at the bar, I thought at least. I really didn't make a good examination of the casino though. I was literally in there for 10 minutes or so.

congrats dorisSince I will be out there myself at least a couple times over the next several months I'd be very interested (grateful) even if you shared more info and details on everything, not just the gambling.   You know, food, shows, hotels, etc.

burglar i stayed at bally's and i had some good hits on triple poker too;aces/k, quad aces and other bonus quad hands with kickers.bally's doesn 't have a lot of vp though.played at paris,vp was ok although i couldn't hit a thing on ultimate aces.bellagio and flamingo triple poker were good to me but the best was the quad.had dinner with 3 putt and his wife at paris, which was very good but i'm not a big foodie.i will recommend hash house though.don't do shows anymore.
i can't recommend bally's for you to stay right now because they are building a shopping plaza out front so you can't enter from lv blvd .the sidewalk going to the front entrance is partially blocked so really you couldn't go that way with the wheelchair.

Nice trip report Doris. We are going to be in Vegas for a couple of days the first part of Nov. Normally play all my VP at either Paris or Bally's. Since you did so good I think while we are there I will give the Quad or whatever it is called now a try. Don't like the name the Quad. It sounds like some sort of college dorm.

I think it will officially be the linq casino by November. They were going to get rid of "quad" to keep superstitious Asians happier. They probably blew that though when they got rid of the Asian theme to begin with.
