Us guys used to say that up at UCONN while viewing some of the scenery.

The Hard Rock where I normally play has drawings about once a month. I've seen people win there, but I never have. A couple of years ago I sat next to a lady when she won a pretty nice car. Have you ever won anything good in a casino drawing?
I have not but the wife is the lucky one. In April the day of my Birthday, she got her name drawn for the cash cube. There was $36,000.00 flying around her! She had to stuff as many $100 bills into this little slot in the glass in 60 seconds as she could. Came away with $2500! We split it then an hour later playing BP Deluxe together, held 4 to the royal and she hit the button for the Ten of Diamonds and a $2000 royal! What a birthday! She is my good luck charm I take her everywhere!!!

That cash cube would have fun to see!

I have actually won quite frequently, including a couple of times at Hard Rock Tampa years ago when I used to play there after they first brought in Class III VP machines. I have also won multiple drawings for FreePlay at The Beau Rivage in Biloxi. I even won a Sony 52" flat screen at Horseshoe Hammond in a New Year's Eve drawing, and I wasn't even there.
Unfortunately, I did not win the live horse at Tunica Roadhouse earlier this year. REALLY wanted that one. Did get a selfie with the "Rodeo Clown of the Year", though
Your odds of winning that horse at Roadhouse/Tunica had to be pretty decent, who was there besides the horse, clown and you? I'm just joking but I have been there many times and I bet there wasn't over 20 people playing in the whole place. I quit going when they quit offering $2 denomination TDB, I don't think there's a casino in Tunica that offers the game at that denom anymore.

$2 TDB? Um...you might be right. But I thought the CET crap new Game Kings had TDB and went up to $5, but it might skip from $1 to $5. And definitely not 9/7 either. 9/7 TDB no longer exists in Tunica, so it's theoretically better to play 9/6 DDB.

Both Sweet C and I have had our names drawn for $500 in free play at Isle. I had strong premonitions on both times. And since premonitions run in my family I usually hold to them. I told Sweet C when she put her name in the drum she would be called. Sure enough they called her name later in the evening. Sweet C's was a straight draw name call. When I had my only premonition of being drawn, I was so sure I got ready and cashed out of my machine before the name was called as the first call of the night. They drew, announced the name and ....Oops! not my name. Man, it was such a strong premonition. So 5 minutes later on the "no-show redraw" they call my name. I'm still waiting for another draw premonition.

I've won a lot of cool stuff in assorted drawings over the years like Dolphin season tickets, airplane tickets and such, but never anything in a casino drawing. People around me have won, but I'm still waiting. One thing they do at the Tampa Hard Rock is walk around and randomly give away $500 in free play to people with their player's cards in the machine. I've been playing in the high limit area more this year, so maybe they'll have pity on me and give me something.

I am personally a big contest junkie too, but have not won anything besides a decent casino free play. I gave up on the contests offered by fast food chains, but I still think the best ones are at the casino. Good to hear you've won on at least some of them.
Not sure if people see the same perspective as I do with regarding contests. If you win, you get the opportunity to buy the prize for 70-85% off of the retail price, the 15-30% amount you have to pay going to Uncle Sam.
