Las Vegas casino serial robbery suspect shot dead

I was there. It happened early on a sunday morning in front of the Starbucks Cart across from the gift shop. He had been going around to customers asking for money then decided to hit the cashier in the main hallway. He tried to roll over to get something out of his backpack when they put one in his head. I reported on this on my last trip to Vegas, last month, but as usual, got kicked to the curb. Have no idea why I post on here..never get a reaction.

Hey cook you are not the only one. I think I am going to change my screen name to kicked to the curb. I think part of the problem is that the forum part of this website is not easy to find and there is not the proper encouragement for others to participate. On the main bar they need to add the word forum. If they made that one change I think the number of meaningful participants on this forum would at the very least double and I would not be surprised if it increased 10 fold. And there has got to be a better way to get new people to use this forum than giving out of an achievement. We need new blood on here but most people that go for the achievement make a mockery of it.

There are many times when I post, particularly a comment, and it gets overlooked and there is no acknowledgement. AT other times, items like this one do generate responses. I assume at least folks read what I write and have nothing to add so they don't respond. I do the same as well. Doesn't mean you are being ignored so as I think some of us responded to an earlier post of your along this line, no comment does not mean your thoughts/posts are not valued.

Thanks to you, Chatty and otabill. I just get agitated because it just seems like so much of this forum is geared to the odds of this or that, math and whatnot, and the people who do post for the companionship and thoughts of the other players is like I say, kicked to the curb. There are things you will always remember, and seeing chaos in the casino is one of them. I was also in Laughlin during the shooting at Harrah's years ago between the bikers. Maybe I will give all of you a shout out where I will be so you can avoid that area.

I try to post a little and sometimes probably too much of both the math and game and stories too. I have to agree with Otabill that sometimes we just read a post and reflect on it, but if we have nothing to add, we don't. Once in awhile, I will say something like replys requested or something like that. I don't even kick cans to the curb amymore, just pick them up for recycle. Easy to say, but in life you just have to somehow pick yourself up and try and keep on going the best you can. Please keep posting I'm sure most everything gets read and digested by the people here...Olds....
