Suggestion for dealt RF change

Post by cddenver »

The other day I was dealt a RF on TP, and the game treated it just like any other dealt hand - I had to hold the cards myself and click "Deal/Draw" before the score rang up.  I'm not complaining, but it was a little disconcerting.  I sat and looked at the screen for a minute to make sure I was doing it correctly.

I think it would be a good idea to change the game logic in a case like that to match what happens on a real machine - the cards are automatically held, and the score credited.  If not, sooner or later WM will be getting messages from players who've gotten flustered in a case like that and end up misplaying the hand - and the messages won't be of the "Howdy" nature.  Once the site opens for real, it would also save WM some aggravation in dealing with less-than-honest players who claim to have been dealt a RF - "but the game unheld one of the cards".  I have a slot tech friend who's told me that happens now and again at her casino.

The same kind of change would be needed for games where other dealt hands are top winners, like Aces w/kicker on TDB.

I refuse to pass this suggestion on until I am dealt a royal flush myself.

It makes sense... it should behave the same as the machines do so I'll try to get this worked in for the next iteration.

C'mon, Webman - I know that you've been sneaking play in as HYEENK@EAR.  'Fess up.

If my real life rate of dealt RF's holds true, I won't get another one here for two or three years.

I really do think it would be a good idea to make this change...if you think we're whiny now, wait until you get the......messages from folks who misplay a dealt RF.

Don't count on it. I just had my second RF playing SuperDDB. However, I still haven't got a single set of aces. Go figure ...

No, not dealt ones, just two on the same game. Of course, if you remember I have had 3 REAL dealt ones this year.

Yes, I remember.  That's only 1 less than ALL the real RF's I have so far this year.

The one I had this weekend was my 10th real one overall. Of course, with 626K hands it's nothing to brag about. Not to mention, I'm still waiting for just one dealt one playing multi-line.
