One problem that you have, Tony, is a 'drain' on your ADT if your play is not sustained, which may begin to limit the comps that you receive from the casinos. They usually have a clause on offers that states "This offer may be withdrawn at any time". You may find yourself sleeping in a dumpster. Wait - didn't that happen to some casino players in Florida?

Of course this is possible....I easily coul dhave done this in AC between 2010 thru 2012, when they had all 11 hotels/casinos still up and functioning......I had comped rooms offers and plenty of food offerings for all seven days of the week spread amongst the following AC hotels:The Atlantic Club, Caesars Properties, The Tropicana, trump taj and Trump Plaza, and Resorts (note, I did NOT have anything from Borgata)....Most of my play during this time was at Resorts, the Trop and CAesars but I also played jussst enough at the Trump properties to get a free room offer sunday thru Thursday.....I frequently strung together stays of 12 to 14 days consecutively during the supposed "slow" periods of September thru April......at the end of 2012 though, the comps started to dry up, followed by the actual casinos starting to dry up!   But I still have enough comp offers from the remaining places where I could pull off a 6 day stay and then just STAY UP all night for Saturday (the one night I do not have comps rooms for!)    Done that too....So my guess is, with Vegas and Reno and Laughlin and Mesquite having about 25 TIMES as many casinos and hotels as AC, a person quite easily could do this......and FYI, in order to start receiving comp room offers each month from almost any casino except the truly HIGH END places (like Wynn), all a player must do is earn a few points, and VOILA!!!    They are so desperate to keep their hotels full and keep people in the casino they will give you rooms easily.....But I do not think a BLOG would be as interesting as everyone thinks, unless the guy has a really huge bankroll to play some serious action ...and speaking from experience, the whole endeavor can easily become OLD and boring and stale after a few weeks........but maybe not!Good luck Tony!

You definitely need a break from the casino every couple of days. No problem if you have a car. especially in Ct. where everything is a stone's throw away. You especially need fresh air, some sunshine, some downtime, another hobby or even some good ol fashioned work to do. That makes it that much more fun on the next trip up. For me, I need the salt air, long walk on the beach or boardwalk, time with family and on and on, but each to his own I guess.

Glad to hear all the positive results. Just booked 8 days in March and between the Orleans, TI and Harrahs Laughlin all rooms are comped and include either free play or food.

Going to give this some serious thought but thinking September 2015 is my target to give it a try. That way can wrap up things here in Michigan and enjoy the spring and summer here before driving west.

i think the main thing you can take away from all our posts is, a lot of us would love to try what you are thinking about doing. don't go broke, but what the heck, nothing to tie you down, why not. can't wait to hear how it goes, good luck!

I pretty much did this from December to March.Resort fees are a pain.Food very affordable especially if you are over 50.Swear I will never eat hash browns & eggs again.I rented a storage, pretty cheap,so I wasn't injured carrying a heavy suitcase. Was fun.I was priced out on Valentines so stayed up.Town was so busy didn't notice until 7am.Not that easy to get free rooms without long hours of play better just to look online and pay $20 midweek.

I get all the rooms and food I want in Vegas. I have never been charged a resort fee on a comp room. B Connect gives rooms the easiest and is where I stay the most. Followed by Total Rewards and Station casinos.

Vp is good at Boyd (B Connect) properties and also good at Station casinos. I use Total rewards as a last resort

if you are interested in sharing, i would be interested in a recap. did you only play VP, how much did you put thru each day, net w or l, did you get tired of playing after a period of time, free food/rooms, etc?

For most Nevada casinos, you will see great offers on food, bingo, and even special point multipliers just for being at least being 50 years of age, just joining the casino club membership is all that is needed without any rated play (of course you'll need to play a little every six months to keep the membership active. I think a "senior" in the state of Nevada seems to be defined as someone 50 years of age compared to 55, 60, 65 elsewhere.
