No reason to BS anyone. I think DB needs to play more at off the boardwalk casinos. I know it's harder for him to get there, but before long, there won't be any casinos left on the BW. I have always thought the games were fair at Borgata, but admit that 3 of the last 5yrs have been losing years overall. I prefer to stick with the older machines that have been there from the beginning rather than the new server based machines. That's all. Anyone have any success on the server based Bonus Poker triple plays at Bally's? The older machines were replaced some time ago.

Yeah the progressives. The old uprights were very popular , just wondering if anyone has had any success on the new server based units.

Last time we were there my wife hit a royal on them. And there was a lady sitting next to us who hit 2 out of 3 for close to $3000 after drawing 4 to a royal. And there was a guy who hit a royal within about 5 pulls on 3 to a royal on the machine I was playing on when I decided the machine was cold and decided to switch machines. At 8/5 Bonus with the progressive the EV has got to be close to 100%.

Chatty, thanks. Always thought the older machines were fair.. Nice to hear some people have had luck with the new ones. I haven't really played at Bally's since they downgraded the 9/5 full pay double joker triple plays in the high limit room. That was some time ago.

Congrats Car on Borgat Success .... I have said many times the three OFF Boardwalk casinos (Borgata, Golden Nugget, and (sometimes) Harrahs)  are better in terms of just about everything including luck than the decrepit BW properties.   I have been going to them MORE, especially for LIve Poker, the past year and a half, so much of what remains of my VP action has been at these three casinos, but I have not had an spectacular success yet, even though I think extremely POSITIVE, SMILE, PRAY, CHANT, say nice things to anyone within 20 feet of me, tip waitresses 5 times what I normally tip (whther they bring me drink or not, sometimes I just throw money at them and SMILE SMILE SMILE...)   Sadly though the Karma Gnome has not seen fit to bless my "Positiveness" .... he's probably being held hostage in Ted's cellar ("Put the &$%! lotion in the basket")In all fairness to Chatty when he was at Bally's and witnessed some great hits on the 8/5 BP progressives (I know those machines well),  they had only VERY recently been installed, and it is pretty common when games are new for people to somehow hit with them (it generates interest and builds loyal players who return to play the games and provide the casino with future revenue streams).....I believe Chatty 100% on his reported hits at Ballys AC, but also, in all fairness, he is about the only person I know either personally or online who has reported significant success at BAllys AC recently (i.e. in the last 12-15 months).Stay with Borgata Carcounter, but if you want a nice change of pace, hop across the way to Golden Nugget, they are in pretty good shape these days in terms of overall service quality, game selection, food and comps.   If you play any REAL live cards they also have a nice Poker room.
