Westgate (formerly LV Hilton)

Anyone here have any feedback or experience recently with the WESTGATE Hotel/Casino in Vegas?    It used to be the Hilton.....I keep getting offers from them even though I have not played there in at least 5+years!    Pretty good offers too, free rooms Sunday-Thursday and 49-59 Bucks on Fri-Sat......of course the resort fees are all over the map, changing every month it seems, but still.....what;s this place like these days?

I was there back on Labor day weekend.I mostly play 8/5 Bonus poker.I think there were 8-10 playable machines inside the sportsbook area. They added some VP machines in the sportsbook and they were 7/5,ugh!There was some more 8/5 in the main casino but you had to go find them as some were not.Casino was not to busy.I did not eat there but one of my friends did out of the sportsbook area and said it was good, forgot what he had.

You will still have to pay the resort fee ($25).They also charge you $4 for a bottle of water and $8 if you use the coffee maker.Since there is a Starbucks downstairs don't.The room was nice but so many timeshare people between the room and the casino.Didn't find anything of interest on the slot inventory.
