I do believe that winning streaks are real but then again, so are losing streaks.
True enough...  The real trick is knowing when you are in one.

A fifteen dollar losing streak almost unabated at a buck a pop can easily spiral to $30 to $50; whacked with a $15 quickie loss yesterday. So spooked I hit craps to rebound financially for $10. Then another machine. Two full houses later, up another $11. Bottom line actually improved $6, but too much leg work due to ice cold machine. Dice can go cold too but at least are not programmed. Plus, stumbled onto a dollar 9/6 that is quite playable, far from the noise and smoke of quarter 9/6.

It is still fresh in my head, about 3 months ago I experienced the worst losing streak ever while playing.

I normally put in $200 in a full pay $1 Jacks or Better machine. I know the optimal strategy very well and played slowly and carefully, I kept losing every hand betting max each time until I hit 2 pairs and see my balance at 40 credits. Turns out that I've lost 34 straight hands played perfectly when the chance for a winning hand of pair of Jacks or Better is at 45%!

Not much I could have done to reverse that course of bad luck. Too bad it happened at a live casino setting than in practice.

Is this where you get the grown-up stars of the theatre, that will come in costume?

I lost $1000 that very day in just 3 hours, so everyone is prone to big losses from time to time. Right now full pay Jacks or Better is the best option I have for a variety of reasons. If it ever goes away, I will play quarters and cheap.

It will take quite a while longer for me to forget the remark you made about my sister DaBurglar. Good don't, because you conveniently forgot (or simply do not bother to mention) what was said prior to me making the statement I did, what you said and the context, etc.   Seriously, go back to that entire thread, FROM THE BEGINNING, and anyone will see the truth.......

Forever to quad yesterday. First $20, break even. Left, returned. $20 bust. Next $20 had my quad, thankfully at max bet. That's usually my fifty cents a bet Surrender stage. Guy beside me got a Straight Flush; kept on playing. He lost his mind and roll chasing the $1092 RF.
