Huh, DB did you change your name to "Someone", in no way was I singling you out, I'm starting to think you really should talk to someone about your persecution complex, yikes!PS, I'm sorry that I win and you lose in AC.

:   Just how much/how often are you actually claiming that you "WIN" in AC?    I don't doubt you might have had a good day or even a trip, but what is the significance of that?   Even I have had an occasional winning day or session......And like Ted says, "why are you "Sorry"?      This is the one sole area where TED makes an effort NOT to be a hypocrite, where he expresses sick "GLEE" anytime something negative occurs or happens to me.....Besides, I am doing well in my Poker playing......I am playing the best poker of my life and the great thing is, with live poker when a player is playing well,  the "LUCK" factor is greatly diminished......I'd love to challenge you to a Poker match.

OK I agree with you, I'm not sorry.

So, once again,  WHO was the anticipated "malcontents" you expected to "unload" on AC?And when can I pencil you in for a Poker match?   Borgata or Harrahs?   Limit holdem  or No Limit?

DaBurglar I don't express sick "GLEE" anytime something bad happens to you. As I am a firm believer in: "You reap what you sow" I only wish good things toward my fellow man. And woman. Namaste...

The Borgata raised the room tax $10 dollars per night at the beginning of this year. Now the tax for me (as a black card holder ) is $15 per night.Titanium card holders are comped for the room tax.Was this a winning trip. Nope ! ! !   So, I can't retire yet.

but borgata now gives you wifi for that $15 so bring your ipad or tablet with you and when you're losing you can go to your room and play video poker.

this is off topic, but might be an indicator of the current situation in AC. in my area and many other parts of the country, CET offers a regular schedule of charter junkets to AC. i used to go all the time, but now, only 1-2 times a year. these flights were on planes that held about 100 players and in the pre-recession days, they were always full. these junkets have been going on for decades. i recently called about making a trip and found that all the trips are now on 30 seat flights. i guess they just did not have the demand.

JIM, sorry you lost this past trip......can I ask you, what do people Below Black status now pay per night at Borgata?  is it also 15 bucks???   If so, that is truly disappointing since I still get offers of a free night or two during September - April at Borgata based on the measly little video poker I still do play there, in between poker games or tournaments.  it used to be kinda nice only paying 5 bucks for a night's rest on a superior Borgata bed mattress! My Actual Poker Room play at Borgata nets me some decent free room offers in and of themselves:  currently I get a twice a month 2 free nights, sunday - Thursday.
