I haven't been grossed out by Mr. Bourdain's show since he was on Food NetworkI can't help but wonder if "Unknown Parts" relates to destinations or animal body parts.   EEEK...Hoping, also, they're animal parts.

just got done watching the segment about NJ. he does a good job of story telling and the show's camera work and production are always well done. but, this show is on CNN and he/cnn have a particular point of view, that is often injected into their programming. in one segment, he talk about AC. he places the blame for AC's state of affairs on bringing in the casino business and especially bashes donald trump. he fails to mention that AC was on the decline decades ago and casinos were brought in to inject new money and attract tourism, which it did. he also fails to ask the question i have posed many times on this site, where did all the money go? his very next segment is about CAMDEN. he does point out that the city is dangerous, kids do not graduate and many other problems. but, he seems more optimistic about the future. he fails to mention that this city has been run by progressive policies for multiple decades. just like detroit. so, on one hand he blames capitalism for one city's demise, without questioning what happened to all the money and on the other hand seeming optimistic about the future of another, without any meaningful change in how it is being run. AC had success in the palm of their hand. casinos were not the problem, they were part of the solution. they brought in the tourists and their money, what city does not want that? the problem was the management of AC.

His money quote was about the Revel, "a multibillion dollar Mongolian rodeo."The most outrageous thing he's ever eaten that I've seen: probably a tossup between roasted warthog anus and still-beating cobra heart. I believe he did once eat a durian, which stopped his rival Andrew Zimmern cold.
