Coushatta - Loosest SLots/Great VP

Post by Lucky Larry »

Coushatta is our favorite casino outside of Red Rock in Vegas. Saw where Coushatta was certified by Strickly Slots as having the "Loosest Slots" in La. Not surprised but since I don't play slots it doesn't much matter.

The VP pay returns are still also the best in La. that I've found.   While 1¢ comes in at 97%, the 2¢ and above are all generally at 98.9%. Having 9/6 DDB, 8/5 Bonus and Ugly Deuces available at all low and high denominations especially on 50-100 play is AWESOME!!!!! Add to that there is no La. State Tax at this Native Indian Casino makes it even better for us out-of-staters. Additionally, the comps are the best I experienced in La and the neighboring states.

I didn't realize this wasn't a riverboat. That's definitely a plus on the state tax hits then.

If you ever get a chance to play Coushatta give it a try. The largest casino in La. with almost 3,000 machines. Multiple overnight facilities including 2 Towers (Non-smoking 7 Clans -700+ rooms); Grand Hotel (6 story Adult Only); the Inn hotel; several hundred chalets and huge RF park.

If you get this way let us know, we'd love to meet up and treat you to some of the awesome gumbo.

Glad to see this post. Planning a trip to Coushatta soon and was wondering about their VP. I haven't been there in years. About the deuces, what's the paytable like?

Hope you have a great time. What games do you normally play? Single hand, Spin, 3-5 play?

Always check the machines since some do not always have the same pay tables. But, you can easily find the following pay tables:

Ugly Deuces: 15/9/4/4/3 - 98.9%
Deuces Wild Bonus: 13/4/3/3 - 98.8%

Watch the JOB. The 5¢ and up pay table on 50/100 play has a unique pay table.   JOB only gives back 1 on 2 pair but give 400 for quads and 500 SF and has 99% return.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks!   I play mostly single line, never spin poker, but sometimes multi hand. I love most forms of deuces, maybe because my first royal flush came while playing it.

Now time to practice on those pay tables. That's better returns than I expected :)

Coushatta offers several deuce variables: DW, DW Bonus and a few machines DW Double Bonus.

The casino floor is broken up into colors to designate the machines by color and #: Sections are Black, Orange, Yellow, HD (high denomination) Most of the VP machines are in front of you to your left as you come in the main entrance in section "Black". Check out the following the following casino areas:

Black 5000 has 4 All Star Machines with multiple games and multiple denominations. Make sure you check the pay table for each denomination as they vary by game and denomination.   On the back side next to the tables are 4 machines that have multiple games where Sweet C plays. All around that area is multiple VP games-progressives up by the entry doors, single hand, Multi-strike, etc.

Back by Lenny's Bar (Orange) are the 6 -50/100 play with 98+% returns on 2¢-$1. 1¢ is lower at 97%.

Scattered all around other sections are other VP machines but many have random lower pay tables. If you spend some time checking you can easily find 98+% games.

When you come check out the 50/100 play machines- would love to meet you. The player's card will say "Larry" or "Candy" depending on whose cards we are playing that trip. Sweet C is the gorgeous one who looks intelligent. You can't miss my gray head but I'm the "Lucky One" since she married me.

Look forward to your posting some great hits and hearing about your trip.

kylara,
Probably a couple of times a month. 2 1/2 hours from the Houston area so not a bad run and with their comps, cash back, facilities, and nice pay tables it is a wonderful entertainment option.
